Saw the film last night. I was somewhat disappointed that it was not a more emotional experience. Nevertheless, it did cover the question of the empty tomb and missing body quite thoroughly. Had the Jewish and or Roman authorities wanted to stop Christianity in its tracts all they needed to do was to present the dead body of Christ. They couldn't and they didn't. In this fiction story the Roman officer in chage of the investigation in the end seems uncapable of making a stand for Christ, even after all that he has witnessed. How much like so many today, even after all God does for them to manifest His love and mercy, they are unwilling to stand-up for Jesus. And you? Will you stand-up for the Son of man? Will you stand-up for Jesus and be counted as one of His?
