"Never watch television. Never watch television. It's the greatest scientific indoctrination tool ever devised. Have you figured that out? It has changed the whole culture of nations, not just one nation. Why do you think it was mandatory that everyone have access to television in Britain by the government? Why do you think China and India are under the same program right now, because they love to be entertained? Do you believe that? Most of your ideas and opinions come from television because you mimic what you see. Never watch television. You can't even watch a movie unless you do it critically." If you are still watching "The Living Dead," or some other TV program, you might not realize it, but you are the living dead. Shut off the TV, get out and exercise or walk around, talk to your wife and children, read a book, write a journal, learn an instrument, but shut the d___ thing off! You'll be healthier and happier because of it. And you might even learn to think! In the Psalms we read, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." All those things you watch and listen to are effecting how you live and think. Shut it off! Pick up your Bible and read God's word to nurish and strengthen your soul. Or listen to some good positive Christian music which administers faith, love, forgiveness and other Christian values.
