Part 1: Are we about to receive the Mark of the Beast?

With the whole world in a state
of emergency, many nations in very desperate situations, the economies of
the entire world at an almost standstill and some countries beginning to
look like police states or under martial law, it seems like an ideal
time for some kind of savior to rise up on the international scene. For those
who know and study prophecies, it should not come as too much of a surprise, because
the prophecies tell us about the inevitable rise and the
spectacular fall of the man who would rule the world, the Antichrist.
Who
is this mysterious master of evil, whom the Bible calls the Antichrist,
the Beast, the Evil One, the Man of Sin, and the Son of
Perdition, who is destined to step onto and dominate the world stage in the
last few years before the return of Jesus Christ? His identity
has been a matter of speculation for millennia, and although in this study we
won’t be able to point to someone and say, “There he is! That’s him!”
the Bible does tell us a lot about him. It is up to us to understand all we can
about him because he will, perhaps even soon, be leading a global-world
government. That means he could be in power over you and me.
We should all be alert and
studying the scriptures in these extraordinary times when each day brings in
apocalyptic news of the kind we have never heard before. While the world is
totally absorbed and distracted with surviving the COVID-19, what
better time for this man and his cronies to make great progress toward their
goal of setting up a new financial system, including a new world order. This
is what this study is about: to try to match the current events with the
prophetic scriptures. This is the first in a series
about this subject.
1JN.2:18 Little children,
it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Let’s try to see if
and how this evil personality could rise from this unprecedent world’s health
crisis and from the likely economic and social woes which will follow, while studying
what is written in the scriptures.
We know from the Bible that such a man is coming. We can only speculate that this man and his followers, before going public, would be preparing and making their plans in “the shadows”, secretly. Who and what is in a position to overthrow an invisible force? We can safely assume that this world is not governed only by the visible heads of states but also by wicked forces behind the scenes. And if so, the nations cannot come to even a private agreement without their having a hand in it secretly. Their plan is to so wear down and exhaust the nations that, in desperation to be rescued from their problems, they will be compelled to offer this man inter-national power which will enable him to absorb all their governments and then form a Super Global Government.
2Thes.2:9,10 The coming of the
lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power,
signs, and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among
those who perish.
Rev.13:7 …and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
There is a great
force that creates the patterns of thought and that force is the press
and the media; it has already fallen into his hands or at least in the
hands of his supporters. By controlling the press and the media, they, the
forces of evil, are in a position to excite or to tranquillize the
public’s mind on political questions, to persuade or to confuse, publishing now
the truth, now lies. His agents control the mass media; it is the power which
shapes and molds the minds of virtually every citizen, young or old, rich
or poor. The mass media forms our worldview and then tell us what to think
about that image. This beast will come to power by deceit. (note: in most cases in this study, the
pronouns “they, their or them” will be used to represent the evil
forces working for the Beast behind the scenes, his promoters, followers, the
media, the elite, global organizations etc.)

Dan.8:12 And a host was
given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and
it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.
Every time I read the newspaper or
listen to the news or even watch movies or TV series I think, "My God, what
a “host” is following the Antichrist today!" What a “host”
is anti-Christ, lying, cheating, stealing, twisting the truth,
completely destroying the truth everywhere they go, taking the Bible and prayer
out of schools, putting in the diabolical, anti-Christ teachings of evolution, etc.
They took Christ out of Christmas and made it
"Xmas,” taking even the manger scene out of the town park, as they want to
destroy all the truth and destroy every mention of the name of Christ or
anything that reminds you of Christ.
These
forces are at work in the world today and they have almost everything in
the palm of their hand, already. World business, industry, show
business, movies, banks, money, government and politics, they've got it
all! About all they're waiting for is to promote their
man at just the right moment to save the World and get it all
together under his government. Something terrible is going to happen to make the world
want this Antichrist to lead them and solve their problems and be
willing to sell their souls to the Devil and receive his mark. Could Covid-19 be what triggers his coming onto the public scene
or at least paves the way for him?
Dan.8:25 Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to
prosper under his rule…
Rev.12:9 the great dragon… Satan, which deceives
the whole world…
Rev.13:14 And deceives them that dwell
on the earth…
Have you noticed in
the news lately any of the following words, expressions and new
technologies?
“…a world Economy
transition…government adoption of a digital currency…must embrace a liberal
World Order…we need a Global government…billions of vaccines
to protect the world…we need a national tracking system…the need of a global
vaccine ID…a call for a vaccine certificate recognized
internationally…digital ID2020… the ID2020
Certification Mark…BitChip…human microchip under the skin…
must transition into this new digital system…” etc. etc.
The news and an explosion of new
technologies are racing toward what the Bible calls “the Mark
of the Beast” and the establishment of a one world government.
The media are not even trying to hide it anymore and are consistently molding,
influencing and preparing peoples’ minds.
The time is soon coming when paper
money will no longer be used as a medium of exchange! Existing currencies
will be replaced by a remarkable new credit system with which every
person in the World who belongs to the Beast’s regime will bear a credit
number, without which he can neither buy nor sell. This digital number would
be used not only for financial purposes but also as an official ID containing
all your personal information as well. As you can see from the above excerpts,
the technology is here and is being pushed on us and the COVID-19 is
setting the stage for rapid changes, changes that the Antichrist needs
in order to rule the world. Lately, several stores
are not accepting cash anymore and the trend is growing.
REV.13:15-18
And
he (the False Prophet) had power to give life unto the image of the beast,
that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would
not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causes
all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a
mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and
that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of
the beast, or the number of his name. Here
is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for
it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.(666)
According to the
Bible, the Beast and his New World System would assign every man and
woman their own digital number permanently, without any possibility of
counterfeit, change, manipulation or forgery, because it will be branded on
each person, a sort of digital tattoo, like “cattle for the slaughter”. "A mark in their right hand or in their
foreheads." The False Prophet will use this mark as a means to force
people to worship the Antichrist and his Image or be
killed! The Bible WARNED NOT TO RECEIVE that number and one can only
imagine the pressure of having to own a mark in order to ensure the
necessary food for his family.
REV.14:9-11 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.
For millennia, what John described
as this new way of buying and selling, essentially conducting commerce,
seemed fanciful. It is the amazing technological advances of
recent years that have made the implementation of what John cryptically
called the “Mark of the Beast” possible. That “no
man may buy or sell” also signifies a totally controlled situation. The
technical infrastructure that could impose this type of financial uniformity is
already in place and if universally adopted, this could evolve into the very
economic system foretold in this chilling passage of John in the book of
Revelation.
An example, among many,
of how advanced the technology has become is BiChip. Here are some

Another one is MIT (Massachusetts Institute of
Technology):
“MIT researchers have now developed a novel way to record a
patient’s vaccination history: storing the data in a pattern of dye,
invisible to the naked eye, that is delivered under the skin at the same
time as the vaccine.”
“The researchers showed that their new dye,
which consists of nanocrystals called quantum dots, can remain for at
least five years under the skin, where it emits near-infrared light that
can be detected by a specially equipped smartphone. It’s
possible someday that this ‘invisible’ approach could create new
possibilities for data storage, biosensing, and vaccine applications.” (Anne Trafton | MIT News Office December 18, 2019)
As you can see, the
technology is already HERE and what John prophesied 2000 years ago,
which I am sure he didn’t understand himself, is a reality today. It is about control,
money then world domination.
REV.13:17
And
that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of
the beast, or the number of his name.
The World is already
broke, already bankrupt. Governments are already in the hole and in debt. The
financial crash has already been here but people still refuse to believe it and
therefore they haven't yet panicked. They're still worshipping their false gods
and relying on their false Wall Street prophets, and still thinking everything
is all right. The Antichrist and his people behind the scenes have always
worked upon the most sensitive spot of the human mind, upon their wallets:
it hands over the will of men to their disposition.
Because of the
carelessness of nations, their reserves are gone. Loans hang like a sword of
Damocles over the heads of their leaders, who come again and again to the world
banks begging for more, knowing full well that there is no possibility of
repaying them.
Will the aftermath of
this pandemic be the breaking point they could use to precipitate an
economic crash of the stock exchanges and bring industry to a standstill,
throwing whole mobs of workers on the street? When the Beast comes to the
throne of the world, the present financial system will no longer be in
accord with his interest. He will sweep away and destroy the old money
markets and replace them with this impressive government credit system
just as the Bible predicted.
We can see the hand of this Beast and his people working hard in the shadows to bring about a one-world power. Globalization? Ha! Globalization is nothing with-out the strong hand of this antichrist spirit driving and pushing for it. The world is fatalistic now; they see it as a natural course of events. But it's not happening naturally; there's a definite plan behind it. The apostle Paul wrote:

You’ll
also remember that I told you the ‘Antichrist’ is being held back until just
the right time. That doesn’t mean that the spirit of anarchy is not now
at work. It is, secretly and underground. But the time
will come when the ‘Antichrist’ will no longer be held back, but will be let loose.

These shadowy forces
have wanted all the markets linked so they can pull the plug on them,
all in one shot, and not have to destabilize country by country. That is why
all the financial markets and stock exchanges have become more and more connected
and inter-dependent as they want to be able to crash the entire market economy
of the globe with one phone call, one flick of their wrist… or just one
virus?
The powers behind the scene have been testing things out, trying the waters to see if things are going to work or not. It has been a slow process, because they tamper with this market here and see what effect it has on the other markets, then they turn around and fix this little glitch that caused this market not to rise or fall at their behest. And on the game goes, until now every market is so intertwined that there will be no escape. There has been other world crisis and financial events in the not too distant past, like the Asian Crisis of 1997, the 9/11 tragedy, the 2007-8 housing bubble in the U.S, just to name a few, that have contributed to further advance their goals.
The global exchange will rise and
fall at whim. They could take the entire stock market, bonds, securities,
commodities and other financial markets down with them to ensure that the
entire civilized world falls into chaos and becomes desperate for a
global leader. It could happen in a blink of an eye. They were not quite ready
yet. They had a bit more fine-tuning to do and they were waiting on
something else, maybe this virus mess?
These global forces
need faster technology to help their plans work, so they're pushing for
computer, internet and cellular phones upgrade and are behind much of the
research into cloning, biotechnology, chip advancement and vaccines. They're
funding and fueling its current research and they need the biggest brains out
there working on solutions that are going to benefit their system, pouring big
bucks into bionics and the research and development of chips or other new
technologies that can be implanted under your skin, pushing ahead at
breakneck speed so their plan can work without major glitches.
We’re barely a quarter into 2020,
and already it feels as if several lifetimes have been packed into just under four
months. (as of April 2020) The COVID-19 pandemic has
brought home the realities of a sea of change in commerce and in
healthcare, and in the digitization of, well, everything.
The gateway to all of this digitization running smoothly is, of course,
verification and speed through the use of advanced technologies.
This is where the 5G
fast connectivity comes into play, they need that 5G speed to enable
a seamlessly connected society and its emerging technologies like
internet of things, artificial intelligence, advanced data analytics, robotic
process automation, cloud computing, virtual and augmented reality, drones,
digital banking, digital wallet and ultimately the Mark.
The question is, will this “Mark of the Beast” be enforced on us right now and the answer is, not yet.
Because the Antichrist has not appeared on the world scene, he has not been
revealed yet and the Bible says that the Beast and the false prophet are
the ones that will make it obligatory. The apostle Paul wrote:
2TH.2:3-4 Let no man deceive
you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comes a
falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition…so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God.
And the apostle John also
wrote in the book of Revelation, chapter 13, that it
is the Beast who causes all to receive that mark and he is nowhere to be
found at this moment. So, until he comes, we have more time and the development
for the mark will continue. Some countries might even start using some forms
of a digital Mark, but it will be mostly voluntary and presented as a “useful
and beneficial technology”. I believe this COVID-19 crisis is
most likely just another test run, a sort of practice before the final game, a major
rehearsal before the wicked forces can bring about their “Supreme Lord”,
Satan himself.
You might be tempted
to say, “Wow, you sure paint a dark picture and a difficult future. Is there
any good news amidst so much evil plotting?” Well yes; it is going
to be like the old classic movies when, after many problems, there was always a
happy ending. The Bible is clear that this Antichrist will lose in the
end and our Lord Jesus, along with His believers, will win the
battle. (See Dan.7:13-14; Mt.24:30-31; 1 Thes.4:16-17; 1 Cor.15:51-52;
Rev.11:15)
The apostle Paul said that we shouldn’t be ignorant of the devil’s devices (2 Cor. 2:11), we have to understand what is happening so we are not deceived along with the unsaved. The purpose of Bible prophecy is to prepare us for the future, so that we will not be in ignorance, as the apostle says, or found in darkness. But rather we are the children of light and these things will not come upon us as a thief in the night, unexpected or by surprise. (1The.5:2-8) We will have no “mighty widening of the eyes”, as those who are not aware of the signs of the times, but we will see them in advance, we will recognize these events as they begin to transpire and we will be able to specifically know that "this is that which was spoken of by the Prophets" (Acts 2:16). Therefore, we will know precisely what is happening or about to happen, that, this is what God was talking about: "This is it! We're here! We have arrived at this point, we are now in this period, and this is that event!" And we will therefore know how to respond and react to it and what to expect as we have prepared for it in our heart for years with our knowledge and study of His Word.
“Ye
hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?” (Lu.12:56)
Jesus obviously scolded
the religious leaders of His day for not knowing the signs of the prophetic
'times' in which they were living. Because of their failing in this matter,
they actually missed the foretold coming
of their own Messiah. Therefore, we believe it is extremely important that God's people
keep a vigilant eye upon the current world events so that they may correctly match them with appropriate
prophetic interpretations, as best as they can, and get at least the general
picture of things.
This is what Bible
Prophecy is all about, this is what Bible Prophecy is for, that God in His
mercy is telling us in advance what's going to
happen so we will not fear the unknown but
will be prepared. "Behold, I have told you in advance.” Jesus, (Mat.24:25)
Be ready
for these events. You can receive Jesus at this very moment. It is a free gift
of God. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Please pray this simple prayer:
"Dear Jesus, I want to know You personally.
Please forgive all my faults. I accept that You are the Son of God and that You
died for me. I invite You into my heart and life. Thank you for your gift of
eternal life and please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to read and
understand Your Word. Amen"

Appendix: more on the Beast Taken from “Major Themes of Revelation’s

Does that sound fantastic, a world
dictator such as the Beast described in Revelation? It’s not a new idea, is it?
Totalitarian governments in the twentieth century have had terrible anti-God
tyrants. Take the great assemblage of nations that was the Soviet Union. They
did their best to stamp out God, telling people that if only they got rid of
God, they would be free. What a lie that was, wasn’t it? There came such a
bondage enforced by the state, an obedience contrived by Stalin who eliminated
some sixty million people, and people lived in fear of the secret police. The
state had taken over that part of the human heart where God alone should dwell.
So, it will happen again in the future, but it will happen in a way that, for
extremeness, is almost unprecedented.
It is
humanists, mostly in the western world that have made laws so that in any
schools run by the state you mustn’t mention God. Education has to be
completely God-free. If you sow ‘these things’, with the inevitable law that
‘what you sow you reap’, man will reap a world dictator who will eventually
require them to give to the state, to the dictator, the loyalty that they would
otherwise have given to God. This will lead to the deification of man. Ultimately,
there remains a choice between two things: the truth and the lie. And they who
refuse the truth, that there is a true God, shall fall for the lie.
The day will come when men who have
given up the idea of God will look for someone to rule the earth and save it
from the chaos of its military and economic disasters. They shall fall for a
man of tremendous genius, who, unbeknownst to them perhaps, is inspired by
Satan himself. He will eventually come out in his true colours and demand
divine worship. Fortunately, there is a happy ending in our Lord Jesus’ Second Coming.
