Crisis and the Mark. Part 2

pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning

Jesus said that plagues and
diseases would precede His return. In 1951, when WHO issued its first set of
health regulations to prevent the international spread of diseases, the
situation was stable, the report said. People traveled internationally by ship,
slowing the spread of diseases around the world. New diseases were rare. But
today, *large volumes of people can easily travel worldwide,
meaning an outbreak or
epidemic anywhere on the planet is only a few hours away from becoming an
imminent threat somewhere else. The coronavirus crisis
has brought the whole world to a grinding halt and put something like three
billion people under virtual house arrest. All over the world *fear has replaced not just
faith but also just plain common sense and rational thinking. Let’s try to make
some sense of this mess and also shine some of the light of God’s Word on the
situation.
1JN.2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard
that antichrist shall come…
2TH.2:9 The coming of the lawless one is according to
the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders…
2TH.2:10 and with all unrighteous deception among those
who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might
be saved.
The
Bible predicts that in the last days a world government would come into power led by an evil dictator, the Antichrist, before the return
of Jesus Christ. In part one of this series, we speculated that this man of sin
and his agents could be at work behind the scenes: we explained that we are
witnessing a global governance roll-out right in front of our eyes, the
end of an era and a transition to a new digital financial system of control, which
would be the cherry on top of an international surveillance state, with all the
major players being on board at this point. The United Nations is leading the
way, the central banks, governments and mega corporations also playing a major
role in this. This new system would be basically run on 5G, AI and the Blockchain
technology, which already exist. This latest crisis has been used to accelerate
the global governance agenda we are seeing coming into place, and it has been in the works for decades. According to the way people
react to this virus and/or any succeeding crisis and given the
extent of the damage that it does, and the resultant choices people make
because of it, this “man
of sin” and his forces
would proceed from there to complete the groundwork needed to bring about his
evil empire.
This Bible study is not meant to be another *conspiracy theory, it is an attempt to understand how and if today's events are fulfilling
prophecies.

The actual situation—Changes through crisis and fear:
LUK.21:26 Men's hearts
failing them for fear, for looking after those things which are coming on
the earth…
It's just as possible to catch things in the Spirit as it
is in the physical, in fact even more so if you're not inoculated with the
Spirit of God. A spirit of fear is one of the most contagious of all
spiritual diseases, as we observe with the state of anxiety which is just
permeating, flooding the world today. Satan is getting what he wants: fear -- which
is a form of worship to him. Just as the “fear of God is the beginning of
wisdom” (Prov. 9:10), fear of Satan is really the beginning of death!
Fearing God is a form of worshipping God. To be afraid of God and fear Him is giving
Him the respect that He should have, as we had for our own parents. Most people don’t
realize this, but to fear the enemy (to fear Satan) is like worshiping him.
DON'T do it. Jesus told the devil:
Matthew 4:10 Thou shalt worship the
LORD thy God and HIM ONLY shalt thou serve. (or fear)
Statistics change on a daily basis and there is so
much contradictory information. The Bible specifically says that ‘God is
not the author of confusion’ and if God is not the author of confusion, who is then? Obviously, it is
the enemy of our soul. Almost the Devil's total power is in fear. A world confused and in fear is the ideal breeding ground
for the Antichrist to make himself known, to come to the front as the Savior
of the World, and to
take steps to eventually put his regime in power.
Whether planned or not, the COVID-19 crisis
is part of the beginning of sorrows (Mat.24:8) and is bringing about new laws, new
rules, radical changes, changes that would have been unthinkable just a
few months ago. About half the world is in home isolation, in lockdown which
could be referred to as house arrest, similar to martial law. It is of course happening
due to fear of getting sick with the virus, but also of the possibility
of dying, the fear of Death. It is astounding to watch that nearly three
billion people are willing to go into lockdown so easily: it is done through
fear. It is of course important to take precaution against this virus but this
fear of death brings bondage and torment.
1CO.14:33 For God is
not the author of confusion but of peace.
1JN.4:18 There is no fear in
love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment…
HEB.2:9, 14,
15 …that He (Jesus) by the
grace of God should taste death for every man… that through death he might
destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and
deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject
to bondage.
The Antichrist has not yet appeared on the world scene (as of June 2020), he has not yet been revealed. But antichrist
forces are getting the world prepared for him. Look how many signs of the times
had already been fulfilled, even before COVID-19: the uniting
of Europe, increased use of technology for financial, political and thought
control, the voluntary forfeiting of nations' sovereignty to the idea of a
one-world government, the desensitizing and dumbing down of the masses through so-called
education and the mass media, the secularization of religion, etc. More changes
will follow, and will largely be accomplished through crisis and fear. Is
fear itself the worst virus?
Antichrist destructive
education
2TI.3:1 This know also, that in the
last days perilous times shall come.
2TI.3:7 Ever learning, and never able to
come to the knowledge of the truth.
The institutions of the western world, until fairly
recently, had been built on Judeo-Christian
values
but they are rapidly being replaced by the confused license of so-called liberalism.
These dark forces have gotten their hands into the administration of the law,
into the conduct of elections, into the press and little by little into the
liberty of the individual. They have given special attention to education as
being the cornerstone of a free existence. They
have fooled, bemused and corrupted the youth by inculcating and rearing them in
principles and theories which are known to be false, cunningly pieced
together for the purpose of educating young minds in the direction they want. Do not assume for a moment that these
teachings are empty words: think carefully of the successes they arranged for
Darwinism (Evolution), Marxism, Nietzsche-ism, humanist and secular ideas. It
should be plain to see what a disintegrating importance these directives have
had upon the minds of the youth, not to speak of society in general.
1Tim.4:1 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and
doctrines of devils.
That is the whole principle
of modern godless education: teaching you that nothing is
really certain, there are no absolutes, so nothing is really right or
wrong. In every field-- science, math, art, music, history, philosophy and
religion-- they have tried to destroy confidence and faith in the absolute to
try to shake your faith that there is anything sure; anything that is necessarily so
or true or right. They have attacked each major field that proves the evidence
of a perfect God: After all, if there is no Creator nor Creation, then life is
just a meaningless, chaotic process of Evolution! If there's no God, then
there's no Ruler. And if there's no Ruler, then there are no rules, no laws and
nothing is either right or wrong.
Pilate asked Jesus, "What is
truth?"(Jn.18:38) Jesus had earlier said, "I am the Way, the
Truth, and the Life." (Jn.14:6). If there is no Truth, there is no Christ. So, to disprove the
existence of God they had to disprove the existence of Truth and rhyme and
reason, order, plan, laws, rules, etc. The result has been anarchy and chaos! Thanks
largely to Charles Darwin and his evolutionary "doctrine of devils" and the
present so-called ‘liberal progressive’ educational system where prayer and the Bible
are illegal.
We will continue to give more details concerning
the ‘man of Sin’ and his
shenanigans in part three of this series, and since the subject can be gloomy,
we will close this part two with glimpses of the happy ending. As terrible and
powerful as this Antichrist will be, his doom is sure and has been prophesied
countless times.
The triumphal second
coming of Christ
When His disciples were caught in a storm, fearing the worst, Jesus came to their rescue walking water. Likewise, in the perfect storm in which humanity finds itself in the end of this age, the Lord Jesus will again come for His own, this time in the clouds.
DAN.7:11,
13,14 I beheld then
because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld even till
the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the
burning flame. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the
Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient
of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him
dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages,
should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass
away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
MAT.24:30-31 And then shall appear the sign of the
Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and
they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power
and great glory. And he shall
send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together
his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
1TH.4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the
trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then
we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
REV.11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and
there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are
become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign
for ever and ever.
It is recorded in books after books in the Bible
that the Lord Jesus comes back again and the Beast is defeated.
REV.19:19-20 And I saw the beast, and the kings
of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that
sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and
with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which
he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that
worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone.
REV.20:1-3 And I saw an angel come down from heaven,
having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he
laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and
bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit,
and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the
nations no more…
The near future is not so hopeful, but the future
just beyond is glorious. After the Antichrist and his forces have ruled for
only a few short years, the Bible promises that Jesus Christ will return
and completely crush them in the catastrophic battle of Armageddon. He
will then set up His Kingdom of Heaven on earth, and rule as King of kings and
Lord of lords. --The famous Millennium. So no matter how bad these coming days
may seem to be, for those of us who love Jesus, even bad news is good news.--Because
we know that the sooner things get worse, the sooner they're going to get better
afterwards and the sooner Jesus is going to return and put a STOP to this
present madness. Luke
21:28 says, "And
when these things begin to happen, lift up your heads, for your Salvation draws
near." When the
Antichrist's forces really start taking over, look up, because Jesus is coming
soon. So, look up! --Be encouraged!
One thing we have to acknowledge about this crisis
is that it is something that God has allowed to happen. We can blame it
on this failure or that failure, but it is safe to remember that God is in
control. And if in control, then it is part of His plan, He has a purpose as
the following verses indicate:
JOB.12:9-10 Who among all
these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this, in whose hand is the life of every
living thing, and the breath of all mankind?
DAN.2:20, 21…Blessed be the name of God forever and
ever, for wisdom and might are His. And
He changes the times and the seasons; He removes
kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to
those who have understanding. God removes and
raises presidents and prime ministers of this world.
REV.17:16, 17 "And the ten
horns (ten end time countries) which you saw on the beast, these will hate the
harlot (the oppressive materialistic commercial
system) make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her
with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His
purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until
the words of God are fulfilled."
Here in this last verse, it is noteworthy that it
is God who put into the
hearts of the ten end
time kings or countries to join the Beast to fulfill prophecy. Is God working for
the Beast? In this case, it is rather God ultimately in control of even wicked
forces to fulfill His purpose. We can rest assured that, in the
end, all things work for good to them that love God… even this virus
and the coming of the Antichrist. (RO.8:28)
You can receive Jesus at this very moment. It is a free gift of God. Please pray this simple prayer:
"Dear
Jesus, I want to know You personally. Please forgive all my faults. I accept
that You are the Son of God and that You died for me. I invite You into my
heart and life. Thank you for your gift of eternal life and please fill me with
Your Holy Spirit. Help me to read and understand Your Word. Amen"

*Appendix
on large volumes of people traveling worldwide
As mentioned in the beginning, with fast and relatively
cheap means of flying and the huge amount of people traveling internationally,
virus like covid-19 can spread worldwide in a matter of a few weeks. The Bible does
prophesy about increased travel in the time
of the end:
DAN.12:4 but thou, O
Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the
time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be
increased.
In the prophetic book of Daniel chapter 12, he is told by
the angel to close up the book as the message he had just received was not to
be fully understood till “the time of
the end”, when “many shall run to and fro” which literally means “speeding about, here and there,” or as The Living Bible explains this verse,
“travel shall be vastly increased.” When you consider that
people’s means of transportation—horse and buggy, wagons, camels, boats,
etc.—did not change substantially for thousands of years, you can appreciate
the significance of this prophecy.
In 1789 it took George Washington
eight days to travel the 200 miles from his home to his inauguration in New
York City. The fact that it took eight days is not significant. What is
noteworthy is that Julius Caesar could have made the same trip just as rapidly
in the year 50 BC! No real progress had been made in transportation over the 18
centuries that passed between their lifetimes. But look how mankind has advanced in the past hundred
and fifty years! Never in all of world history have people
traveled such distances, such speeds, and at the frequency that hundreds of
millions are traveling today. Truly many are running to and fro, just like God
said they would in the “time of the end”.
*Appendix on fear and faith
The Lord's protection is just like a force field around us
and the enemy cannot penetrate it. If you keep your mind stayed on the Lord,
you’ll have perfect peace. The Lord cautions us that we're not to fear, and constantly
tells us not to fear but to have faith. How wonderful it is if you have
faith and you're the Lord's child! You see the good and you feel good and you
praise the Lord and are thankful. But if you're a child of the enemy, you're on
his channel continually, hearing his voice constantly. --How horrible! Whereas
if you're a child of God and you love Jesus, you have the Lord and His Holy
Spirit in your heart and you're on His channel in constant communication with
Him and receiving His vibes. You're constantly hearing from Him and you're
hearing His voice all the time in the mind's eye, your spirit. All day long and
even at night in your sleep you're receiving the Lord's communication.

on Conspiracy Theory

A short definition: “A theory that explains an event or set
of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful
conspirators” The first known use of the phrase was in 1871. (Merriam-Webster Unabridged)
One of the
most divisive terms in the English language today is the phrase ‘conspiracy
theory’. Its stigma has a chilling effect on people and the label subtly
has the power to shut down enquiring minds and with them any
inconvenient conversations. But where did the term come from and how
does this catch-all phrase affect independent thinkers, international debate
and the media today?
Having
trawled the archives of The New York Times, Time Magazine and The Washington
Post, Professor Mark Crispin Miller found that the phrase ‘conspiracy theory’
wasn’t used much until 1967. “The CIA had sent a memo to all station chiefs in
the early part of that year,” he said. “The occasion for this memo was the fact
that a number of books had come out recently, most notably ‘Rushed to
Judgment’ by Mark Lane, demonstrating very convincingly that the Warren
Commission report to the effect that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman was
absurd and full of holes.” This professor said the CIA basically kick-started
a propaganda drive to describe
in a negative way these authors as conspiracy
theorists.
“The memo
even went in to ‘talking points’, specific arguments that these hacks should
use on behalf of the agency basically so that people would not bother to
take the critics seriously,” he said. “These are arguments that are
still used to this day to marginalize people who raise questions about the JFK,
RFK and Martin Luther King assassinations, 9/11 certainly, Iran Contra and the
downing of UAE flight 800. “The fact is that the propaganda drive that
began in 1967 has continued to roll on and has been brilliantly effective.
It is a way to control public discussion. It is a way to freeze intellectual,
congressional and journalistic inquiry.”
While conspiracies (both
real and imagined) have always been a part of human history, the word
conspiracy in itself, a perfectly meaningful word, has in recent years been often
used as a way to keep evil deeds hidden and not questioned. The Antichrist
himself and his followers are or will be involved in a conspiracy to take over
the world and form a one world government and, according to the Bible, this
is not a THEORY. The dark forces behind the scenes, who have an agenda in
preparing the world for his eventual arrival, love to crush and stop any voices
who dare to expose their schemes by merely calling them “conspiracy
theorists”. And, if I may add, they are helped by the social media giants
who have increasingly taken upon themselves to play ‘Big Brother’ by censuring
and removing differing voices from the accepted norms. Don’t be fooled
by their deception.
