Bible Prophecy tells us we will have world government and it will be draconian and toltalitarian in style.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous or dangerous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (which is idolatry), boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection (those that abort their children and or have same-sex relations, etc.), trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (date rape, sexual abusers), fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived."(2 Timothy 3:13) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables (like the theory of evolution)." (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
Finally, that man of sin, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, shall be revealed. He will show that he is God when in fact he is Antichrist. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)
"And all the world shall wonder after the beast (the Antichrist). And they worshipped the dragon (Satan) which gave power unto the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" (Revelation 13:3b,4)
"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given him to continue forty and two months (3 1/2 tears). And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven." (Revelation 13: 5-6)
"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them (world-wide persecution): and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations (world control). And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not found in the book of life of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) slain from the foundation of the world." (Revelation 13:7-8)
"And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king (the Antichrist) of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power (but Satan's supernatural power): and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practuce, and shall destroy the mighty and holy people (USA?)." (Daniel 8: 23-24)
"And through his policy also he shall cause craft (witchcraft?) to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many; he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes (Jesus Christ); but shall be broken without hand " (Daniel 8:25)
He will come to power with signs and lying wonders for he is Satan incarnate, but he shall be destroyed by the Lord by the breath of His mouth and with the brightness of His coming. (2 Thessalonians 2:8-9)
Those that do not receive the love of the truth will fall for the son of perdition's lies and their own damnation, because they believed not the truth of God’s Word but took pleasure in unrighteousness and in unbelief. (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12)
Those that believe the truth shall be saved, but it is imperative that we stand fast, and hold the traditions which we have been taught, whether by word or epistle. (2 Thessalonians 2:13-15)
Our prayer for you is that our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us, and given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, will comfort your hearts, and strengthen you in every good word and work. (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)
Finally, brothers, please pray also for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ, and that ye be not weary in well-doing. (2 Thessalonians 3:1,2,5,13.)
