What’s with the Water?

Sometimes I think that living and working in the Middle East is giving me a little bit of a heads-up on future events concerning politics, current events, and even such things as water shortages. So, if I can pass on what I’m learning, maybe it can also be a help to you.

That brings me to water. We can only live three or four days without water. So, after air, water is the most important thing we need to live. The Bible has given us some foreshadowing about water in the future. For example, “…the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared” (Revelation 16:12). Usually big events like this are gradual, over decades sometimes and not sudden, so we have time to adapt—if we are tuned in.

The Euphrates is not far from where I am. Recently I read reports of how it’s drying up, and farmers are moving since there’s no longer enough water to make a living. So, for me, this is not something in the distant future, but it’s already knocking on my door.

The fact that a huge river like the Euphrates is vanishing sends up a red flag, even if rivers drying up weren’t predicted in the Bible. I think we can pretty much agree that water issues are becoming a common concern worldwide. In the U.S. at present, over half of the country suffers from drought. A street vendor in Egypt could not afford the rise in the cost of bread to feed his children, so he set himself on fire. The rise in bread prices was due to droughts in the U.S. and Russia, the main global producers of wheat, which caused the price increase of wheat around the world. So already we’ve seen the repercussions of the lack of water, and we’ll be seeing more.

So, what can we do? In Jordan the last three years we’ve had the “Water Tank Project” for families who have no water or whose tanks are rusted or leaking. A new tank helps to ensure that a family has enough water for household use.  This stops water leakage, and we can teach them to conserve water and use their gray water. (The tanks are only for water for household use; they do not serve for drinking water, which has to be bought in bottles.)

Here are some interesting facts about water in Jordan:

• Jordan has one of the lowest levels of water availability, making it the country with the second-least amount of water. Water is rationed to each house, coming in only one day a week, and soon it will come in only twice a month.
• Jordan is on schedule to exhaust underground fresh water as early as 2050, if not before.
• Jordan is facing continuous challenges due to the additional refugee population, leading to more than a 22% increase in water demand.
• Water per person in Jordan is 88% less than the international water poverty line of 1,000 cubic meters annually.
• Jordan can expect up to a 60% decrease in rain and a one-to-four-degrees-Celsius increase in temperatures as a result of climate change.
• The cost of electricity used in water pumping has increased 220%.
• Jordan, one of the world’s driest countries, is losing water due to aging infrastructure. The amount of water lost nationwide every year could satisfy the basic needs of 2.6 million people.

Our water tank project is an investment in survival and a solution for Jordan’s thirsty. Here is Hezeron’s story:

She is 36 years old, a single mom, and she lives in a village with her four children. She received a water tank for her family, which is essential because the water is salty in this area. Before that, she had no water tank! The water truck charges her for 4,000 liters of water even though she only has a 2,000-liter tank!—Either she pays for 4,000 liters or she doesn’t get any water at all!

She needs another tank as she doesn’t have water for her goats. Her goats are her livelihood.  To find water for the goats, Hezeron has to take her goats at least one kilometer out into the desert in hopes of finding a small amount of water. Sometimes there is no water at all there, and she has to walk them back again without water.

Although a water tank is relatively cheap, she can’t afford it. She works the fields picking vegetables from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., then she works cleaning houses, and doing any available jobs to support her children (just to buy them school uniforms and the basics). She has doubled her goat herd, because she is very industrious. She built a room for them with her own hands.

If Hezeron had a water tank she could save money, water her goats, and increase her business. Hezeron is one of hundreds of families with a similar story!

Portuguese doctors support Ivermectin to treat early signs of Covid-19

Portuguese doctors may be divided over the use of anti-parasitic medication Ivermectin to treat the early stages of Covid-19, but those that support it are adamant that it works.

One of a group that is pushing for wider availability of the drug says he won’t be taking up the vaccine, as Ivermectin will do the job.

“I believe in the scientific evidence that exists”, António Pedro Machado has told Correio da Manhã, which says old people’s homes “from the north to the south of the country have resorted to Ivermectin to ensure residents don’t develop the most serious forms of Covid-19”.

According to Dr Machado, he used the drug on an outbreak at a Santa Misericórdia home where 68 seniors were affected. “There were only three deaths”, he told CM. “Two of the patients had serious illnesses and the other only started taking Ivermectin when he had already developed grave pneumonia”.

“I am not a (pandemic) negationist in any way”, he insisted. “I recommend to all my patients that they should get vaccinated as soon as they can, but I won’t be. Indeed, he said he has been taking Ivermectin as a prophylactic “for months”.

The issue of using the drug – initially created 30 years ago for parasitic roundworm infections – has been tossed this way and that since the start of the pandemic: with pretty much as many doctors saying they trust it for Covid-19 as those that say they don’t.

The editors of Frontiers in Pharmacology, one of America’s leading publications of its kind, accepted an article stressing the benefits of using Ivermectin on Covid patients in January but have since rejected it on the basis that it “contained unsubstantiated claims and violated the journal’s editorial policies”. 

The paper’s authors, an organisation called the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance is alleging censorship.

Here in Portugal, two patients treated with Ivermectin when they contracted the virus cannot speak highly enough about it. 

Said Maria Madalena Cotovio, “after two days taking Ivermectin, my husband (aged 71) woke up without fever. I associated it straight away to the medication because he wasn’t taking anything else. I was very surprised, but at the same time, relieved”.

The beauty of Ivermectin is that it is produced, without a patent, by Portuguese pharmaceutical company Hovione, in Loures (on the outskirts of Lisbon).

It costs less than €5 a month, says CM.

Talking to Observador last week, Germano de Sousa – former president of the Portuguese General Medical Council, a specialist in clinical pathology  and lecturer at the New University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Medical Sciences – said he too has been taking Ivermectin as a prophylactic, along with four other colleagues, particularly as he tests around 700 samples taken from people suspected of having the virus everyday in his laboratory.

He told the online: “While I haven’t been given the vaccine, I use Ivermectin, with other safeguards like the mask and disinfection of hands, as something that protects”.

Germano de Sousa stressed that there are those who argue the scientific evidence isn’t sufficiently robust. But he told Observador: “I know it is”.

He is one of the group of professionals pushing medicines authority Infarmed to run a clinical trial on the use of the drug with Covid patients, to prove it.

Elsewhere, there has been talk of a danger to the liver if Ivermectin is ‘badly administered’. But Henrique Carreira – another doctor who uses the drug on seniors in an old people’s home – told a recent webinar on the subject that this is just nonsense.

Ivermectin is “not metabolised in the liver, contrary to what studies that have appeared are now saying”, he said. “It’s completely false and just to denegrate something that is making a lot of people uncomfortable”.

For now, Ivermectin is only available on a medical prescription.

YouTube Deletes Mercola Without Warning Over Vaccine

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

• September 29, 2021, YouTube banned and deleted our channel, and the channels of several others, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., for violating the community guidelines they implemented that morning, despite having no warnings or violations this entire year

Whereas before the policy had focused on alleged misinformation relating specifically to the COVID shots, the expanded policy now includes ALL vaccines
• It’s a deviously brilliant move. Just change the rules to match the (previously compliant) content of the individuals you want to remove, and provide users no time to remain in compliance
• The Washington Post, which broke the story, clearly had foreknowledge that the updated rules would result in our channel being deleted and censored
• This is a blatant illustration of how government, technocrat-led nongovernmental organizations, social media platforms and media collude and coordinate attacks to censor people and organizations with whom they do not agree, or who pose a threat to their propaganda narrative

September 29, 2021, YouTube banned and deleted our channel, and the channels of several others, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., for violating its community guidelines. This despite the fact that much of our content has been up for over a decade and never had any complaints from YouTube.

As you will see below, this is a blatant example of how government, technocratically-led nongovernmental organizations, social media platforms and media collude and coordinate attacks to censor people and organizations with whom they do not agree, or who pose a threat to their highly effective propaganda narrative.

YouTube’s New Policy

Earlier that day, September 29, YouTube updated its community guidelines with an expansion of its already existing policy on medical misinformation. Whereas before the policy had focused on alleged misinformation relating specifically to the COVID shots, the expanded policy now includes ALL vaccines.

In a nutshell, as of September 29, 2021, you cannot post any video discussing or stating that ANY vaccine is dangerous or ineffective. As stated in the updated policy:1

“We’ve steadily seen false claims about the coronavirus vaccines spill over into misinformation about vaccines in general, and we're now at a point where it's more important than ever to expand the work we started with COVID-19 to other vaccines.

Specifically, content that falsely alleges that approved vaccines are dangerous and cause chronic health effects, claims that vaccines do not reduce transmission or contraction of disease, or contains misinformation on the substances contained in vaccines will be removed.

This would include content that falsely says that approved vaccines cause autism, cancer or infertility, or that substances in vaccines can track those who receive them. Our policies not only cover specific routine immunizations like for measles or Hepatitis B, but also apply to general statements about vaccines.”

YouTube does grant some exceptions to its new censorship rules, which in now-classic Orwellian double-speak are granted in the spirit of keeping “public discussion and debate to the scientific process” alive.

Vaccine content that will remain allowable includes discussions about “vaccine policies, new vaccine trials, and historical vaccine successes or failures,” as well as personal testimonials relating to vaccines — as long as the channel “doesn't show a pattern of promoting vaccine hesitancy.”

YouTube Changes Policy and Immediately Deletes My Channel

While the update notice states it’ll take some time to fully ramp up enforcement of these new guidelines, YouTube clearly had their sights set on booting certain individuals right from the start. They viewed me as such a major threat that they had to create new rules to “legitimately” censor me because they could not do it with their existing rules, which I never violated.

That same day, within hours of announcing the new rules, YouTube banned our channel and deleted all our videos without warning.

It’s a devious move, really. Just change the rules to match the (previously compliant) content of the individuals you want to remove, and provide users no time to remain in compliance by removing content that might be in violation.

Going forward, being compliant is not enough — you must be predictively compliant and ensure your videos don’t violate some future policy that may be dreamt up in a moment without notice. What happened next clearly demonstrates coordinated collusion between a number of players.

For starters, YouTube admits the new policy was developed after consulting with local and international health organizations. That most likely includes the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. I wouldn’t be surprised if one or more of Bill Gates’ vaccine-focused organizations, such as GAVI, were also consulted.

Several U.S. government officials have also gone on record singling me out as a leading threat to the COVID jab campaign, which is really just a front for a much larger and far more important agenda, namely the The Great Reset agenda. Make no mistake, this censorship is about money and geopolitical control, not public health.

WaPo Journalist Had Foreknowledge of the Ban

Just after 9 a.m. September 29, 2021, a journalist with the Washington Post contacted my media department, asking for a comment on YouTube’s takedown of my channel.

The article was embargoed, which means the journalist had already been told my channel was being removed due to the new rules, and the article was probably already written by the time they contacted me. WaPo broke the story at 9:35 a.m., stating in part:2

“In an email, Mercola said he was being censored and said, without presenting evidence, that vaccines had killed many people ... More than a third of the world’s population has been vaccinated and the vaccines have been proven to be overwhelmingly safe.”

Of course, WaPo didn’t present any evidence that the COVID shots are “overwhelmingly safe” either. In fact, the hyperlink goes to the CDC’s COVID-19 Reported Adverse Events page,3 which lists warnings for anaphylaxis, thrombosis with thrombocytopenia and Guillain-Barre syndrome after the Janssen shot, myocarditis and pericarditis after the Pfizer and Moderna shots, and death following all three.

Once WaPo published its article, others followed. Reuters at least included an entire sentence of the statement we sent in response to media inquiries:4

“A press email for Mercola's website said … ‘We are united across the world, we will not live in fear, we will stand together and restore our freedoms.’ Kennedy said in a statement: ‘There is no instance in history when censorship and secrecy has advanced either democracy or public health.’”

A Coordinated Attack on Freedom of Speech

The collective actions of government, Big Tech and media clearly show this was a coordinated attack on the freedom of speech of ordinary Americans. Government officials have publicly admitted they are coordinating censorship with Big Tech platforms, which, by the way, is illegal.

YouTube, which is owned by Google’s parent company Alphabet, now suddenly changes its medical misinformation rules after consulting with local and international “health authorities,” and immediately takes down the channels of the very people identified by those same government officials as the prime targets for censorship.

Media — at least one of which had foreknowledge of YouTube’s policy change and the imminent removal of our channel — then contacts us for comment, leaving virtually no time for response.

This, by the way, is a classic media tactic used in hit pieces. By not leaving time for a response, they can make you look guilty of just about anything. To many, refusing to respond comes across as not having a good defense or explanation.

We are united across the world, we will not live in fear, we will stand together and restore our freedoms.

Still, despite issuing a comprehensive response, the media didn’t include it. WaPo went so far as to misrepresent what little of my response they did include, as I specifically cited Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) data, which is indeed evidence that these shots are killing “many” people.

I don’t know about you, but to me, 15,386 reported deaths following COVID “vaccination” (as of September 17, 20215) cannot be shrugged off as insignificant.

Dark Money Front Group Takes Credit for Ban

The Washington Post article cites the now-infamous “Disinformation Dozen”6 report conjured up by the Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) and AntiVaxWatch.org. — the same report that has been debunked and refuted by Facebook itself.7

One really wonders how the media manages to avoid the question regarding the lack of transparency of these groups, especially the completely anonymous AntiVaxWatch.org. The CCDH is no better, however. Not only is it run by an unregistered foreign agent, Imran Ahmed, it also appears to be funded by “dark money,” meaning by people and organizations whose identities are shielded or not released.

“Who is funding this overseas dark money group — Big Tech? Billionaire activists? Foreign governments? We have no idea,” Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley said in a July 20, 2021, tweet,8 adding “Americans deserve to know what foreign interests are attempting to influence American democracy.”

Indeed, the CCDH appears to have been created for the purpose of political hit jobs. Its chairman, Simon Clark, is a senior fellow with the Center for American Progress,9 which is funded by dark money from a liberal Swiss billionaire named Hansjörg Wyss.10,11 Wyss is also a board member of the Center for American Progress.

According to Capital Research, through his funding of a Washington, D.C., consultant firm called Arabella Advisors, which allows his identity to be obscured, Wyss has been secretly influencing American policy.12,13 Reporter Hayden Lidwig has also described the inner workings of Arabella Advisors and the influence of the “dark money” flowing through it, noting that Arabella runs a:14

“… vast array of ‘pop-up groups’ … called so because they consist almost solely of slick websites that may pop into existence one day and pop out the next, usually once the campaign is through.”

It’s no surprise then that the CCDH, AntiVaxWatch and Arabella founder Eric Kessler are all applauding and/or taking credit for their role in YouTube’s takedown of the channels identified in the “Disinformation Dozen” report.

The Fight for Truth Continues

While the loss of our YouTube channel is regrettable, it’s not the end of the world. We’ve been preparing for this eventuality, and have been transitioning to other platforms such as BitChute and Rumble already. The fact that YouTube had to use underhanded tactics just to have an excuse to get rid of us only proves how compliant we had actually been all along.

This takedown also shows how coordinated these attacks are. No one acts alone. All the checks and balances have been removed and they’re all working together, which is why it’s so difficult to persist under this kind of regime. But persist we shall. 

Sen. Warren Threatens Amazon to Ban ‘The Truth About COVID-19’

Most recently, so-called “progressive” U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., in an outrageous, slanderous and basically unconstitutional attempt to suppress free speech, sent a letter to Amazon, demanding an “immediate review” of their algorithms to weed out books peddling “COVID misinformation.”

Two days later, U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., followed in Warren’s footsteps, sending letters to Facebook and Amazon, calling for more prolific censorship of vaccine information. Even President Joe Biden has recently used a debunked report as his sole source to call for my censorship.

Sadly, these attacks are being levied by the very people elected to safeguard democracy and our Constitutional rights. Essentially, what they are calling for is modern-day book burning. This is a democracy, not a monarchy.
