Why I Believe The Bible

“I choose to believe the Bible because it is a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eye-witnesses during the lifetime of other eye-witnesses. They report to us supernatural events that took place in fulfilment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are Divine rather than human in origin.“ Voddie Baughan

“Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eye-witnesses, and ministers of the Word; it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto you in order, most noble friend, that you might know the certainty of those things, wherein you have been instructed.” Luke writing to Theophilus

“For we have not followed cunningly devised fables (like the evolutionary just-so stories) of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
