O que preciso fazer para me preparar para 2023?

Recentemente participei de um Retiro Cristão no sudeste da Espanha organizado pela Família Internacional. Cerca de 27 pessoas compareceram. Como resultado da recente Pandemia e bloqueios e vacinas quase obrigatórias, uma sensação de desespero pôde ser sentida entre os participantes.

A primeira noite do retiro foi de boas-vindas. No segundo dia, deveríamos ter comunhão no início da noite. Foi-nos pedido, portanto, que tivéssemos certeza de que tínhamos nossos corações corretos com o Senhor e uns com os outros. “Por favor, reserve um tempo para se desculpar com qualquer pessoa que você possa ter ofendido antes do culto noturno.” Antes de podermos levar nossa oferta ao altar, precisávamos primeiro acertar as coisas uns com os outros. “Portanto, se trouxeres a tua oferta ao altar e ali te lembrares de que teu irmão tem alguma coisa contra ti; deixa ali a tua oferta diante do altar, e vai; reconcilia-te primeiro com teu irmão, e depois vem e apresenta a tua oferta.” [Mateus 5:23-24]

O Senhor também disse que era hora de esquecer as coisas que para trás ficam e avançar para as que ficam para trás. “Irmãos, quanto a mim, não julgo que o haja alcançado; mas uma coisa faço, e é que, esquecendo-me das coisas que atrás ficam, e avançando para as que estão diante de mim, prossigo para alvo, pelo prémio da soberana vocação de Deus em Cristo Jesus." [Filipinas 3:13-14]

À noite tivemos a comunhão. Ao orarmos pelas necessidades uns dos outros, impusemos as mãos sobre a pessoa ao nosso lado e oramos por um enchimento do Espírito Santo em suas vidas. Tivemos uma festa de amor e uma bela noite de canto. Após o canto, pude compartilhar nossas experiências em Portugal com todos e os participantes ficaram felizes em ouvir como o Senhor estava trabalhando e nos aproximando.

O dia seguinte começou com uma aula sobre o Tempo do Fim. Depois de lermos juntos Mateus 24, abriu-se a palavra e discutimos os diferentes sinais que estavam sendo cumpridos. Todos estavam respondendo com todos os eventos recentes que aconteceram. No final da aula, fomos convidados a ficar a sós com o Senhor e perguntar a Ele: “Estou pronto?” “O que eu preciso fazer para me preparar?” Vou compartilhar a profecia que recebi.

“Aquele que pensa estar em pé, cuide para não cair. Estar pronto é um estado de espírito. Estar pronto é um estilo de vida. Estar pronto é aprender a ser instantâneo, a tempo e fora de tempo, em ouvir Minha voz mansa e delicada. É aprender a Me manter em primeiro lugar em seu coração, alma, mente e corpo. Estar pronto significa melhorar diariamente seu relacionamento Comigo em palavras e ações. Estar pronto requer fé, mas a fé vem por ouvir a palavra de Deus. A palavra de ontem não serve para você hoje. Todos os dias você precisa ouvir a Minha palavra e deixar que suas águas puras refresquem seu coração, alma e mente.

“Eu disse que certamente não farei nada sem que o revele aos meus servos, os profetas. Portanto, não tema. Não desanime. Ser encorajado. Venha a mim diariamente, e eu o levantarei, o guiarei e o sustentarei, assim como fiz para a igreja primitiva. Quem é que Me ama? Aquele que ouve a Minha voz e Me segue. Aquele que ouve a voz da Palavra e a segue. A quem devo ensinar e revelar as coisas que devem acontecer em breve? Para aqueles que se mantiveram fiéis a Mim, para aqueles que guardaram Minhas palavras em seus seios porque acreditaram que eram verdadeiras. Meus discípulos são aqueles que ouvem a Minha palavra e a obedecem.

“Permaneça em mim e eu em você e você estará pronto para tudo o que eu permitir ou o que quer que o inimigo possa trazer ou lançar contra você.

“Reze como se tudo dependesse da oração, porque depende. Viva e obedeça à Minha palavra como se tudo dependesse dela, porque depende. Sirvam uns aos outros com amor como se tudo dependesse disso, porque depende. Permita-Me continuar a refazê-lo e remodelá-lo de acordo com a Minha vontade.

“Eu disse em Minha palavra: No temor do Senhor há forte confiança e Seus filhos terão um lugar de refúgio. [Provérbios 14:26] Pois o nome do Senhor é uma torre forte. Os justos correm para ela e estão seguros. [Provérbios 18:10] Confie no Senhor em todos os momentos, povo, derrame seu coração diante dele. Deus é um refúgio para nós. [Salmos 62:8] Tu és o meu esconderijo e escudo: espero na tua palavra. [Salmos 119:114]

“Deus é o nosso refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem presente na angústia. Portanto não temeremos ainda que a terra se transtorne e ainda que os montes se abalem para o meio do mar. [Salmos 46:1-2] Quando passares pelas águas; estarei contigo; e pelos rios, eles não te derrubarão; quando passares pelo fogo, não te queimarás; nem a chama arderá em ti. [Isaías 43:2]

“Estas são Minhas promessas a vocês. Permaneça em Mim e Minha palavra em você e cuidarei dos Meus e ninguém poderá arrancá-lo da minha mão. “Estas coisas diz aquele que é Santo e Verdadeiro... Conheço as tuas obras porque tens pouca força e não negaste o meu nome... Porque guardaste a minha palavra, também eu te guardarei da hora da tentação que há de cair sobre o mundo inteiro, para tentar os que habitam sobre a terra. Não tema nenhuma dessas coisas que virão sobre você. Eis que venho sem demora, guarda o que tens, para que ninguém tome a tua coroa.” [Apocalipse 3:7-11]

“Deus está chamando cada um para se reconectar e rededicar nossas vidas a Ele. A única maneira de estarmos prontos para os próximos dias dependerá de nosso relacionamento com Jesus e de nosso relacionamento uns com os outros. Agora é a hora de deixar de lado as coisas que estão nos distraindo do Senhor e impedindo nossa comunhão com Ele e uns com os outros.

“Estou chamando todos vocês de volta ao muro do Meu serviço da maneira que puderem. A colheita ainda é grande, mas os trabalhadores são poucos. Escolha ser um trabalhador e trabalhe da maneira que eu lhe mostrar. Tudo o que você me der, multiplicarei e aumentarei. Em humildade, sirvam uns aos outros. Uma das últimas lições que compartilhei com Meus discípulos foi lavar os pés uns dos outros. Em Meu reino, aquele que for o maior entre vocês deve estar servindo a Seus irmãos.

“Apliquem 1 Coríntios 13: 4-8a em suas vidas: “O amor é paciente e é benigno; o amor não inveja; o amor não se vangloria, não se ensoberbece. Não se comporta de forma imprópria, não busca os seus interesses, não se irrita facilmente, não pensa mal; não se alegra com a iniquidade, mas se regozija com a verdade; tudo sofre, tudo crê, tudo espera, tudo suporta. Amor nunca falha." Abençoarei aqueles que amam e servem uns aos outros. Esses são os atributos que refletem minha natureza. "Porque ninguém tem maior amor do que este, de dar alguém a sua vida pelos seus amigos." [João 15:13]

Por que nossa saúde mental está sendo atacada?

Nos últimos dois anos - e especialmente nos últimos meses - parece haver um aumento no número de incidentes dos quais ouvi falar e pedidos de oração para jovens. E também cristãos mais velhos passando por batalhas mentais e confusão também. Alguns jovens, na verdade, estão ficando completamente psicóticos ou lutando contra uma esquizofrenia grave ou se tornaram violentos. O que está causando isso? E os pais que ficam profundamente tristes e sobrecarregados ao ver isso acontecer com seus filhos. Este artigo é resultado de uma oração sobre a causa, por que e o que podemos fazer. Talvez ajude alguém que está lutando. Eu rezo para que seja uma bênção para você. As batalhas mentais parecem ser uma tendência crescente - tanto para aqueles no mundo quanto para nós. Muito amor e orações. E um abençoado Natal para você e sua família!

==Respostas às suas perguntas: Por que nossa saúde mental está sendo atacada?

Com o passar do tempo você notou um aumento no número de pedidos de oração pela estabilidade mental de nossos jovens? Jovens que sofrem crises severas de depressão, explosões, raiva, confusão, personalidade volátil, amargura extrema e tormento mental. Com o passar do tempo, a intensidade dos ataques mentais e confusão parece estar aumentando. Também parece haver mais pedidos de oração vindos de cristãos mais velhos, que antes eram bastante estáveis, mas também estão lutando contra a depressão, desespero, montanhas-russas emocionais, preocupação e desânimo. Em primeiro lugar, se você está se sentindo assim, não se sinta “você é o único” – você não está sozinho, então não se sinta mal – você tem companhia! Vamos expor o Inimigo e buscar uma solução.

Existem dois tipos de deficiência mental: 1.) Biológica, isto é, nascido com síndrome de down, autismo, “aprendizagem lenta”, etc. Isso é mais parecido com qualquer deficiência física [embora alguns acreditem que o autismo pode estar ligado a reações a vacinas]. E, 2.) Sofrer algum tipo de trauma mental, emocional que deixa uma pessoa mentalmente instável, deprimida, imprevisível, irracional, raivosa ou violenta.--Estes são mais influenciados espiritualmente. Eles nem sempre foram assim, então o que os levou a se tornarem assim? — Especialmente filhos de cristãos. Estamos lidando com o ponto 2 neste artigo.

E por que isso está acontecendo? Por que as coisas parecem estar se intensificando? E o que está provocando isso? E o que podemos fazer sobre isso? Na verdade, é outro “sinal dos tempos” quando as batalhas espirituais se intensificam. A guerra espiritual está se intensificando para todos nós — para os que estão no mundo e também para os cristãos. Então prepare-se e prepare-se para lutar, coloque sua armadura e lute. Não vai desistir. Talvez nos últimos anos tenhamos continuado “vida como sempre” com nossas vidas diárias, cuidando de nossos negócios, levantando-nos de manhã e fazendo o que fazemos. Mas, de repente, sentimos que fomos atingidos e não esperávamos. Esta é uma das táticas do Diabo. E isso nos deixa um pouco desequilibrados.

Aqui estão alguns versículos para ajudar a esclarecer por que as coisas estão começando a ficar mais intensas.

1.) “Porque o diabo desceu a vós, cheio de grande cólera, sabendo que pouco tempo lhe resta.” Apocalipse 12:12. O Diabo está realmente zangado, especialmente com os filhos de Deus e tentará nos incapacitar, especialmente nossos jovens, pois eles são a próxima geração de soldados cristãos - e ele começa seu ataque na mente. Uma vez que a mente não está funcionando corretamente, o corpo segue. A mente e nossos pensamentos são o campo de batalha. É aí que o Inimigo começa seus ataques.

2.) “E [Satanás] destruirá os santos do Altíssimo.” Daniel 7:25. Isso não precisa ser apenas fisicamente, mas também um desgaste espiritual e mental - já que é uma guerra espiritual e nós e nossos jovens estamos em sua "lista de alvos" principal. Se os cristãos estão incapacitados, o Inimigo pode trabalhar mais livremente.

3.) “Não estranheis a ardente prova que vem para vos tentar, como se alguma coisa estranha vos acontecesse.” 1 Pedro 4:12. Não devemos nos surpreender quando as coisas se aproximam do Fim, pois ambas as batalhas e a guerra espiritual aumentarão.

Quais são os tipos e características desses ataques que o Inimigo usará? Veja se algum desses soa familiar para você nas ações de nossos jovens e de nós mesmos. Veremos especialmente esses traços como raiva, sendo mais facilmente irritado e chateado, pensamento irracional, presunçosos, orgulho, ódio, mentira, ações prejudiciais etc., nos não salvos porque eles não têm proteção ou poder contra os ataques do Inimigo.

1.) “De acordo com o príncipe das potestades do ar, o espírito que agora opera nos filhos da desobediência:” Efésios 2:2 O Diabo e seus demônios receberam mais liberdade e poder para influenciar as pessoas. Ele é o “príncipe das potestades do ar” e trabalhará cada vez mais.

2.) “Porque o mistério da iniqüidade já opera: Somente aquele que agora deixa, até que seja tirado do caminho.” 2 Tessalonicenses.2:7 O que isso significa é que Satanás já está trabalhando. E o Senhor está lhe dando permissão para fazer seu trabalho sujo sem restrições - até que o Senhor volte e o destrua. É por isso que as batalhas estão se intensificando porque o Senhor está dando a Satanás mais poder pouco a pouco e restringindo-o cada vez menos até que ele tenha pleno domínio sobre o planeta Terra.

3) Existem algumas atitudes e características preditas que veremos com mais frequência no mundo, e hábitos com os quais teremos que lidar: “E assim como eles não se importaram de ter conhecimento de Deus, Deus deu entregam-nos a uma mente reprovável, para fazerem coisas que não convêm; Estando cheios de toda injustiça, fornicação, maldade, avareza, maldade; cheios de inveja, homicídio, discussão, engano, malignidade; murmuradores, caluniadores, inimigos de Deus, maldosos, orgulhosos, presunçosos, inventores de coisas más, desobedientes aos pais. Sem entendimento, quebradores de convênios, sem afeição natural, implacáveis, impiedosos”. Romanos 1:28-30

4) De boca aberta. “Cuja boca está cheia de maldição e amargura.” Romanos 3:10-18.

5) Características de personalidade dos últimos dias: “Sabei também que nos últimos dias sobrevirão tempos difíceis. Porque os homens serão amantes de si mesmos, avarentos, presunçosos, soberbos, blasfemadores, desobedientes aos pais, ingratos, profanos. Sem afeição natural, irreconciliáveis, caluniadores, incontinentes, ferozes, desprezadores dos bons. Traidores, obstinados, orgulhosos, mais amigos dos prazeres do que amigos de Deus”. 2 Timóteo 3:1-4

Teremos que lutar contra essas características também - pois o mundo está sendo inundado por esses espíritos que tentam nos sugar para esses hábitos. Todas essas características e hábitos têm espíritos malignos ligados a eles que tentam nos fazer cair nessas armadilhas também.

6) Guerra espiritual mundial sendo lançada: “E vi três espíritos imundos, semelhantes a rãs, saírem da boca do dragão, da boca da besta e da boca do falso profeta. Pois eles são espíritos de demônios, operando milagres, que vão até os reis da terra e de todo o mundo”. Apocalipse 16:13-14. É uma invasão espiritual mundial.

"Filhinhos, é já a última hora; e, como ouvistes que vem o anticristo, também agora muitos se têm feito anticristos, por onde conhecemos que é já a última hora." 1 João 2:18  "Mas os homens maus e enganadores irão de mal para pior, enganando e sendo enganados." 2 Timóteo 3:13

O que podemos fazer como cristãos para não sucumbir às forças que estão atacando o mundo e nós? Aqui estão algumas armas de guerra que temos à nossa disposição para contra-atacar. Não podemos fazer isso na carne. O Senhor e nossos anjos fortalecerão e lutarão por nós, como Miguel quando lutou por Daniel por três semanas. Daniel 10:1-21. Mas temos que pedir e deixar claro ao Senhor que estamos fazendo uma “declaração de guerra”. Alguém sabiamente apontou que as “ajudas” abaixo não farão nenhum bem se tivermos filhos que se voltaram contra o Senhor e não querem ajuda. Eles só são eficazes se alguém quiser ajuda.

No entanto, a falar sobre esse assunto pode ajudar alguns pais que tiveram filhos que se tornaram amargos ou sofreram algum tipo de instabilidade mental e esperamos que este artigo seja um incentivo e esclareça por que nossos filhos são tão atacados. O Diabo tem atacado os filhos de Deus, até mesmo bebês, por milhares de anos. Os israelitas até ofereceram seus recém-nascidos ao deus Moloch, que foram mortos pelo fogo. Então o Diabo começa a atacar os filhos dos crentes desde o berço desde o início dos tempos.

1) Ore em línguas. Orar em línguas é o nosso espírito orando diretamente a Deus e nosso pedido vindo diretamente diante de Seu Trono! E Ele responderá. Efésios 3:16, “Seja fortalecido com poder pelo seu Espírito no homem interior.” — O homem interior é o seu espírito.

2) Faça orações específicas com outras pessoas pela ajuda de que você precisa. “Um pode perseguir mil, mas dois podem colocar dez mil em fuga!” Deuteronômio 32:30.

3) Memorize versículos sobre fraquezas específicas. Basta responder ao Diabo usando um verso. Muitos de nós conversamos muito consigo mesmo, então por que não responder ao Diabo? Jesus falou diretamente com ele e disse-lhe para onde ir!Lucas 4:4, 4:8, 4:12.

4) Leia muita Palavra: Nos primeiros dias do Movimento do Povo de Jesus, havia alguns novos discípulos que tiveram overdose de drogas ou diferentes problemas mentais. Mas através de uma ampla dieta de ingestão extra da Palavra, suas mentes e pensamentos foram curados. “Ele enviou Sua Palavra e os curou.” Salmos 107:20.

5) Esteja ciente do que está acontecendo, ou seja, “sabendo”. Sabemos que são os últimos dias, sabemos que o Inimigo anda por aí como um leão tentando nos devorar, sabemos que estamos em uma guerra espiritual.— Estar atento nos ajudará a nos prepararmos. “Para que Satanás não tire vantagem de nós: pois não ignoramos seus ardis.” 2 Coríntios 2:11

7) Amarre e confine os espíritos malignos. “Tudo o que você ligar na terra será ligado no céu.” — Os anjos lutarão por você se você lhes disser o que fazer. Mateus 18:18-20

8) Diga ao Diabo para onde ir! “Põe-te atrás de mim, Satanás.” Mateus 16:23

9) Use o nome de Jesus. “Até os demônios estão sujeitos a nós através do Teu Nome.” Lucas 10:17.

10) Use! “Eu lhe dou poder sobre todo o poder do Inimigo.” Lucas 10:19.

11) Assuma o controle de seus pensamentos. “Porque as armas da nossa milícia não são carnais, mas poderosas em Deus, para destruição das fortalezas. Destruindo sofismas e toda altivez que se levante contra o conhecimento de Deus, e levando cativo todo pensamento à obediência de Cristo.” 2 Coríntios 10:4-5, Filipenses 4:8, Samos 119:11, 119:97, 119:128, Salmos 101:31, 119:160, 119:54, 119:140, Hebreus 4:12, Efésios 6:17.

12.) Você não está sozinho - Jesus está em você. “Maior é Aquele que está em Ti, do que aquele (o Diabo) que está no mundo.” 1 João.4:4

13.) Fique com raiva e lute, não aceite isso de forma desanimada. Espera-se que você lute! “Resisti firme na fé.” 1 Pedro 5:8-9. “Nem dê lugar ao Diabo.” Efésios 4:27. “Vistam toda a armadura, para que possam resistir às ciladas do Diabo.” Efésios 6:10. "Sujeitai-vos, pois, a Deus, resisti ao diabo. e ele fugirá de vós." Tiago 4:7

14) Seja cheio do Espírito [Efésios 5:18] e, “Nenhuma arma forjada contra ti (mesmo por Satanás) prosperará.” Isaías 54:17

15) Jesus está orando por você! “…Satanás pediu excessivamente que todos vocês fossem entregues a ele fora do poder e guarda de Deus, para que ele pudesse peneirar vocês como grãos. Mas eu tenho orado especialmente por você [Pedro], para que sua fé não desfaleça.” Lucas 22:31-32. (versão amplificada) Romanos 8:34, 1 João 2:1, Hebreus 7:25, João 17:9, 1 Timóteo 2:5, Mateus 10:32-39.

16) Nós temos uma escolha. Podemos controlar nossas ações – Deus nos deu a arma do “autocontrole”. “Deus não nos deu um espírito de timidez (de covardia, de covarde, servilismo e medo bajulador), mas Ele nos deu um espírito de poder e de amor e de uma mente calma e equilibrada, disciplina e autocontrole. .” 2 Timóteo 1:7 (versão ampliada)

Portanto, temos muito poder contra o Inimigo e contra ataques espirituais em nossas mentes e pensamentos. Não somos suas vítimas e temos todo o poder do Céu para matá-lo e derrotar seus ataques. Levante a espada do Espírito e corte sua cabeça. O santo mais fraco de joelhos é mais poderoso que o próprio Diabo. Faça a guerra espiritual em Nome de Jesus e recupere sua sanidade, sua mente, sua saúde mental, clareza de pensamento, sua alegria e felicidade, estabilidade, sua direção na vida e busque seu propósito. Você foi criado para ser um soldado corajoso e destemido de Cristo. 2 Coríntios 5:17-20, 2 Timóteo 4:1-8.

"Quem comete o pecado é do diabo; porque o diabo peca desde o princípio. Para isto o Filho de Deus se manifestou: para desfazer as obras do diabo." 1 João 3:8

Jesus não morreu para que o Inimigo pudesse espancá-lo, mutilá-lo e paralisá-lo roubando sua mente. Ele morreu para que você pudesse derrotar o Diabo e puni-lo e seus demônios e mandá-los de volta ao seu tormento - e não estar atormentando você! O Diabo pode tentar peneirar você como trigo, mas não se esqueça, Jesus está orando por você para que você possa fortalecer outros! Lute e nunca desista! A vitória é prometida e é sua na terra como no céu! Deus os abençoe e os mantenha lutando e ganhando vitórias para sempre em nome de Jesus! 2 Timóteo 4:18, Filipenses 1:6, Romanos 8:37, Apocalipse 3:10-11.

"E ao que vencer, e guardar até ao fim as minhas obras, eu lhe darei poder sobre as nações," Apocalipse 2:26 

What Do I Need to Do to Get Ready For 2023?

Recently I attended a Christian Retreat in southeastern Spain organized by the Family International. Some 27 people attended. As a result of the recent Pandemic and lock-downs and almost mandatory vaccines, a sense of desperation could be felt among the attendees.

The first evening of the retreat was the welcoming. On the second day we were to have communion in the early evening. We were, therefore, asked to make sure we had our hearts right with the Lord and one another. “Please take time to apologize to anyone you may have offended before the evening service.” Before we could take our gift to the altar, we needed to first make things right with one another. “Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that thy brother has aught against thee; leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”[Matthew 5:23-24]

The Lord also said it was time to forget the things which are behind and reach forward for the things which are before.“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”[Philippines 3:13-14] In the evening we had communion. As we prayed for one another’s needs, we laid hands on the person beside us and prayed for an infilling of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We had a love feast and a beautiful evening of singing. After the singing, I was able to share our experiences in Portugal with everyone and the attendees were happy to hear how the Lord was working and bringing us closer together.

The next day started with a class on the Time of the End. After reading Matthew 24 together, the floor was opened and we discussed the different signs that were being fulfilled. Everyone was responding with all the recent events that had taken place. At the end of the class, we were asked to get alone with the Lord and ask Him: “Am I ready?” “What do I need to do to get ready?” I will share the prophecy I received.

“Let him that thinks He stands take heed lest he fall. Being ready is a state of mind. Being ready is a way of life. Being ready is learning to be instant, in season and out of season, in listening to My still small voice. It’s learning to keep Me in first place in your heart, soul, mind, and body. Being ready means daily improving your relationship with Me in word and in deed. Being ready requires faith, but faith comes by hearing the word of God. Yesterday’s word does not serve you today. Everyday you need to hear My word and let its pure clean waters refresh your heart, soul, and mind.

“I have said that surely I will do nothing unless I reveal it to My servants the prophets. So fear not. Don’t be discouraged. Don’t be dismayed. Come unto Me daily, and I will lift you up and guide you and provide for you just like I did for the early church. Who is it that loves Me? He that hears My voice and follows Me. He that hears the voice of the Word and follows it. To whom shall I teach and reveal the things that must shortly come to pass? To those who have maintained true to Me, to those who have taken My words into their bosoms because they believed them to be true. My disciples are those that hear My word and obey it.

“Abide in Me and I in you and ye shall be ready for whatever I allow or whatever the enemy may bring or throw at you.

Abide in Me and My word in you and I will take care of My own and no one will be able to pluck you out of my hand. “These things says he that is Holy and True… I know thy works for thou has had little strength and has not denied My name… Because thou has kept my word, I will also keep thee from the hour of temptation that shall fall upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Fear none of those things that shall come upon you. Behold I come quickly, hold that fast which thou has, that no man take thy crown.” [Revelation 3:7-11]

“God is calling each one to reconnect and rededicate our lives to Him. The only way we will be ready for the days ahead will depend on our relationship with Jesus and on our relationship with one another. Now is the time to put aside the things that are distracting us from the Lord and hindering our fellowship with Him and each other.

“I am calling you all back up unto the wall of My service in any way you are able. The harvest is still plenteous, but the laborers are few. Choose to be a laborer and labor in whatever manner that I show you. Whatever you give to Me, I will multiply and increase. In humility serve one another. One of the last lessons I shared with My disciples was to wash one another’s feet. In My kingdom, he that is greatest among you must be serving His brethren.

“Apply 1 Cor. 13: 4-8a to your lives: “Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up. Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.” I will bless those who love and serve one another. These are the attributes that reflect my nature. For greater love has no man than this than a man lay down his life for his friends.”[John 15:13]

Embracing the New Year

I open a door before you at the start of the new year. As you walk through that door, you will receive the faith and anointing for the year ahead to walk in My will and plan for you. As you come to Me in faith and trust, listening to My voice speaking in your heart, I will continue to guide you in your service to Me and others.

This year is closing, and as you enter into a new year, you can expect changes and new challenges. Yet I am the same today as I have always been. I change not. My love will remain with you, never leaving you for a second, not even for the blink of an eye. I will never depart from you. As you enter this new year, I will be near to you.

Receive the love that I wish to give you, so that you can pour forth My love on others. Receive the wisdom of My Spirit that your decisions may be wise and led of Me. Stay close to Me in the coming year.

My presence will give you light in the midst of darkness and protection in times of trouble and enable you to be a witness to others. Trust Me that I will never fail you or forsake you. I will be with you each step of the way. You can lean on Me and find the strength and reassurance that you need to carry on.

As you put Me and My kingdom first in your life, I promise I will supply your needs. So step with faith into this new year that’s dawning, and trust that I will be with you every step of the way. I love you and you are Mine forever.
A year of growth

Continue to grow in coming to Me and committing everything to Me. Be open to what I have for you and to ask deep, soul-searching questions, such as: “Is there anything more You have to show me or teach me? What more can I do for You? What more can I do for others? How can I lay down my life for You and others?”

Commit all your ways to Me and trust in Me to help you (Psalm 37:5). Lean on Me and rest in Me. Have faith and believe that My Word is true. Don’t worry about how you’re going to fare in the year ahead. Keep your focus on seeking Me and My kingdom first and you will find the strength and courage you need. In your weakness, I can manifest My strength.

I have brought you through much this past year. In the past you have had certain mindsets for how things should be, what you wanted, what you thought was best, and how you would be happiest. Yet over time and through breakings and siftings you’ve come to believe the simple truth that I know best and My plans for your life are for your ultimate good.

You’ve come to see life as the great learning experience that it is and have re­alized how much is yet ahead of you, and how much farther you have to go. Always keep this mindset, and resist feelings of complacency, of having all that you want or need, of being satisfied with the way things are. Be content with what you have, yet always seek to grow in your faith.

Continue to look for ways you can be a help and a blessing to others. Reach out to ­others. Be a support to those who are struggling. Give a helping hand to those in need.
On the right path

I know at times you feel insignificant, small, and unneeded, but that’s not how I see you. You have chosen the pathway of My will. And although it seems dark to you right now, the way ahead will grow brighter until that perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).

The most important thing for you to remember is that you are on the right path that leads to eternal life. You’ve not only found the right path, but you’ve been willing to walk on this path and continue to follow Me.

I’ve allowed this temporary time of dark­ness upon your path, this time of testing, for a good purpose. I know exactly where you are on the pathway of My will and I know that it will lead to the brightness of peace and trust and faith. The tests and trials are for a purpose and will work together for your good and will bring forth the good fruits of My Spirit as you allow Me to work in your life.

I know it’s not an easy process, but if you’re willing to endure this for a season and cling to Me, you’ll reap the beautiful fruits of a closer walk with Me. My Word is steadfast and true and will never fail. All that I’ve promised in My Word will come to pass.

Remember that there’s no testimony without a test and no triumph without a trial. That means you have to be willing to go through the tests and trials in order to obtain the victory. But it’s worth every bit of sacrifice. It’s worth the fight. As you hold on to Me and keep going, you’ll go from strength to strength.

There is victory at the end of this dark patch of the road, and I’ll help you to walk it one step at a time. I’m always with you, right beside you, whispering My comfort and guidance in your ear. I’m your strength, and I will not fail to help you through this time.

Trust in My love for you. Trust that I will never leave you comfortless. You may have hardships, like the disciples of old who suffered many things and of whom this world was not worthy (Hebrews 11:37–38). But you will be rewarded in My kingdom, and you’ll know that it was worth it all! You will see Me come through in majesty, glory, and triumph, and you will understand how these earthly trials are but a flash in the pan, an instant compared to eternity, as a fleck of sand on the wide expanse of the beach.

You have so much to look forward to. There will be times of tribulation, but these are but steppingstones to the wonderful future I have prepared for all who love Me!
Faith for the future

I’ve worked out every detail in your life up to this point, and you can have confidence that I will continue to do so. It will still be by faith. You’ll need to step out by faith and do that which I have for you to do. You’ll need to seek Me and look to Me to know which steps to take and when. I will faithfully lead you and guide you as long as you continue to look to Me.

Have no fear of what’s ahead. My love and Spirit can and will cast out all fear as you place your trust in Me. Remember that I am always with you to the end of the world and beyond. I will never leave you or forsake you. You never need to fear, for I will never leave you without My Spirit and presence.

My love for you stretches out through eternity. As you draw close to Me, you will know that I drew up the plans for every aspect of your life, and I have not made any mistakes in My plan for you. I have kept and preserved you throughout your life, and I will not forsake you now.

Fear not, for you are Mine and I will keep you. You will always have a place in My kingdom. Don’t be fearful or worried about what this coming year may bring, but trust that whatever challenges you face, I will work all things together for your good. Look to Me each step of the way and let it be a year of an ever-closer walk with Me.

“In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”—Psalm 5:31

When you ask God for help, you can wait with expectation.

You pray to a God who honors his promises. He is a good Father who always gives you what you need. When you wait expectantly, you demonstrate faith by believing God will do what he has promised.

Expectation isn’t entitlement. Entitlement says, “I will get what I need from God because I deserve it, I’ve earned it. I’ve read my Bible five times this week and have been to church twice, so God has to give me what I need.” Expectation says, “God will give me what I need because of who he is.”

Waiting expectantly isn’t easy, especially when you feel powerless. When you are trusting God to do the impossible—in your marriage, career, or relationships—and his timing feels too slow, it’s hard to keep trusting him.

Don’t be discouraged, and don’t give up! Even though you don’t know why God hasn’t answered your prayers, you can trust him to keep his promise. God is always in control; he is never surprised, and no one is more powerful than him. Your biggest problems are small to him.

While you are waiting, God is working. He is building your faith, teaching you his truth, drawing you closer to himself, and making you more like Christ. God knows what you need better than you do.

Trust and wait

“Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: Wait, I say, on the LORD.”3 … Patient, confident trust in the Lord is the central idea of the exhortation to wait on the Lord. The entire Psalm 27 is a prayer to God for help. It beautifully illustrates the meaning of waiting on the Lord. Throughout the psalm’s eloquent lines, David expresses authentic faith and courageous trust in God, based on his confident expectation that the Lord will rescue and save him in his time of trouble.

First, we see that we can wait on the Lord by trusting in Him. David expressed great confidence in the Lord, who was his light, salvation, and stronghold.4…

We can wait on the Lord by seeking Him. David conveyed his trust in the Lord by longing to be with Him, to commune in God’s presence and worship in His temple: “One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.”5…

We can wait on the Lord through prayer, as David did in eager expectation of deliverance.6 David asked God for wisdom, direction, and protection, wholly believing he would “see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”7 Those who wait on the Lord can fully expect Him to fulfill their hope: “Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame.”8

Waiting on the Lord involves the confident expectation of a positive result in which we place a great hope. This expectation is based on knowledge of and trust in God. … We must be confident of who God is and what He is capable of doing. Those who wait on the Lord do not lose heart in their prayers: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”9 Waiting on the Lord renews our strength.10

Waiting on the Lord by trusting, seeking, and praying establishes our faith and brings serenity and stability: “I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.”11 As this passage affirms, waiting on the Lord is also a testimony to others who will see our faith and, as a result, put their trust in God.

Waiting on the Lord brings God’s blessings: “Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.”12

Sometimes we might feel as though the Lord does not see or hear us—that He’s not answering our prayers. During these moments, we can put our complete faith and trust in the living God. We can wait on the Lord in eager anticipation, knowing that He is with us and in control of our lives. He will do what He has promised. He will rescue and save us. He is always working for our good, even when we don’t feel Him.13 Through patient, courageous, active trusting, seeking, and prayer, we can learn to wait on the Lord.—GotQuestions.org14

Worth waiting for

Over the years I have seen some dear friends of mine be marvelously blessed by the Lord. Some of these same loved ones and co-workers have gone through what seemed to be a series of incredibly trying times. They faced a lot of difficulty, disappointment, and unfulfilled desires and dreams.

I attended a wedding celebration for one of these friends. She had gotten married in another country, and so she and her husband were celebrating their marriage with those of us who weren’t able to attend the actual ceremony. I felt so much joy seeing them together, along with their beautiful baby daughter. She had desperately wanted a family for many years, but it just wasn’t happening, and of course that was a huge test for her—but she continued to hold on to the Lord and trust.

And now, after years of waiting, the Lord had brought the right man into her life—and brought her into his. As hard as I know it was for her to wait all those years, it was worth it. She now has a wonderful husband and a beautiful baby.

Seeing her so happy, as well as thinking about others who have come through long spells of waiting or ongoing tests, increases my faith to trust God when times are bad, or when I’m going through a difficult period. Each of these had passed through their own particular “valley of the shadow of death”15 which was full of difficulties, discouragement, and circumstances that couldn’t easily be changed. In some cases, there was no way out but to wait, and to trust that, in time, things would change for the better.

Each one persevered through their difficulties. They held on to the Lord in faith and prayer, they didn’t give up, and they crossed the valley and came out on the other side. Those difficulties eventually passed. Their particular valleys took a long time to travel through—years, in some cases. Some came out of their battles wounded, and they needed time to heal. But each one held on, didn’t give up, and is better and happier for it.

I was reminded of a low time in my life, when I was faced with personal difficulties, which were the most trying I had faced until that point. There was nothing I could do to remedy the situation except to pray and trust God for the outcome—that He would either change the situation or give me the grace to make it through. Thankfully, He did both.

Most trials and tribulations don’t pass immediately; sometimes they last a very long time. In the midst of it you may feel as if you’re being ripped apart, and sometimes all you can do is cry out to Jesus and hold on desperately to the promises in His Word. There is new life after passing through that valley of seeming death. And it’s worth holding on for, worth waiting for, worth fighting for.—Peter Amsterdam

Struggling to wait

When we understand God is good, we can trust He has good in store for us. When we know Him as the sovereign Lord over our prayers, plans and hopes, we can believe He wants our best. When we wait for God to act on our behalf, we receive the fullness of His blessings.

Maybe you are struggling to wait for God’s best. Everything in your heart, mind or flesh may be crying out for a shortcut—one that will relieve the pressures of life right now.

When you’re tempted to run ahead of God’s best, He’s never further away than an arrow prayer. Help me. Save me. Comfort me. God loves to hear your short, sweet prayers of trust. As you lean on God instead of your own desires, He’ll act on your behalf.

Though you can’t hear, perceive or see God’s master plan for your life, you can trust Him today in your struggles. Surrender all your hopes and desires to Him. Keep praying for as long as it takes. His presence will be an incomparable comfort if you choose to wait.

Lord, I believe You have Your best in mind for me. When my desires crave what is second-best, remind me to cry out to You. Help me trust that if I wait for You to act, I’ll see You reveal an amazing, custom-made plan. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.—Sarah Geringer16

Why Is Our Mental Health Being Attacked?

Over the last couple of years--& especially over recent months--there seems to be an increased number of incidents that I've heard of & prayer requests for young people. And also older Christians going through mental battles & confusion too. Some young people actually completely going psycho or battling severe schizophrenia or have become violent. What's causing that? And parents who are deeply sadden & burdened when seeing this happen to their children. This article is a result of praying about the cause & why & what we can do. Maybe it will help someone who is struggling. I pray it is a blessing to you. Mental battles seems to be an increasing trend--both for those in the world & for us. Much love and prayers. And a blessed Christmas season for you & your family! 


==Answers to Your Questions: Why Is Our Mental Health Being Attacked?

Over time have you noticed an increased number of prayer requests for the mental stability of our young people? Young people who suffer severe bouts of depression, outbursts, anger, confusion, volatile personality, extreme bitterness & mental torment. As time goes on the intensity of mental attacks & confusion seems to be increasing. Also there seems to be more prayer requests coming from older Christians as well, who before were quite stable, but are also battling depression, despair, emotional roller coasters, worry & discouragement. First of all, if you’re feeling this way don’t feel like “you’re the only one”—you’re not alone, so don’t feel bad—you’ve got company! Let’s expose the Enemy & seek a solution.

There are two kinds of mental disabilities: 1.) Biological, that is, born with down syndrome, autism, “slow learner”, etc. This is more like any physical handicap [though some believe autism may be linked to vaccine reactions]. And, 2.) Suffering some kind of mental, emotional trauma that leaves a person unstable mentally, depressed, unpredictable, irrational, angry or violent.--These are more spiritually influenced. They weren’t always that way, so what caused them to become that way?—Especially children of Christians. We are dealing with point 2 in this article.

And why is this happening? Why do things seem to be intensifying? And what is triggering it? And what can we do about it? It’s actually another “sign of the times” when spiritual battles intensify. Spiritual warfare is intensifying for all of us—for those in the world and for Christians too. So get ready and get prepared to fight, put on your armor & do battle. It’s not going to let up. Perhaps over the last years we may have gone on “life as usual” with our daily lives, going about our business, getting up in the morning & doing what we do. But all of a sudden we feel like we’ve been hit & weren’t expecting it. This is one of the Devil’s tactics. And it leaves us a little off balance.

Here are verses to help clarify why things are beginning to feel more intense.

1.) “For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.” Revelation 12:12 The Devil is really angry, especially at God’s children & will try to disable us, especially our young people as they’re the next generation of Christian soldiers--& he starts his attack in the mind. Once the mind is not functioning correctly, the body follows. The mind & our thoughts is the battle field. That’s where the Enemy begins his attacks.

2.) “And [Satan] shall wear out the saints of the most High.” Daniel 7:25. This doesn’t have to be just physically, but a spiritual & mental wearing down as well—since it is a spiritual warfare & we & our young people are on his primary “hit list”. If Christians are disabled, then the Enemy can work more freely.

3.) “Think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.” 1 Peter 4:12. We shouldn’t be surprised as things get closer to the End that both battles & the spiritual warfare will increase.

What are the types & characteristics of these attacks that the Enemy will use? See if any of these sound familiar to you in the actions of our young people & ourselves. We will especially see these traits such as anger, being more easily ticked off & upset, irrational thinking, boasters, pride, hate, lying, hurtful actions etc., in the unsaved because they have no protection or power against the Enemy’s attacks.

1.) “According to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:” Ephesians 2:2 The Devil & his demons have been given more leeway & power to influence people. He is the “prince of the power of the air” & he will be working more & more.

2.) “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: Only He who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way.” 2 Thessalonians.2:7 What that means is Satan is already at work. And the Lord is giving him permission to do his dirty work more unrestrained, because of mankind's wrong choices—until the Lord comes back & destroys him. That’s why battles are intensifying because the Lord is giving Satan more leeway & restraining him less & less until he has full sway on planet earth.

3) There are some attitudes & characteristics that are predicted that we’ll be seeing more frequently in the world, & habits that we will have to grapple with: “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents. Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.” Romans 1:28-30

4) Mouthing off. “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.” Romans 3:14

5) Personality characteristics of the Last Days: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” 2 Timothy 3:1-4 

We will have to fight against these traits as well—as the world is becoming flooded with these spirits that try to suck us into these habits. All these traits & habits have evil spirits attached to them that try to get us to fall into these traps as well.

6) Spiritual worldwide warfare being released: “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world.” Revelation 16:13-14. It’s a worldwide spiritual invasion.

"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." 1 John 2:18. "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived." 2 Timothy 3:13.

What can we do as Christians to not succumb to the forces that are attacking both the world & us? Here are some weapons of warfare we have available to us to counter attack. We can’t do it in the flesh. The Lord & our angels, will strengthen & fight for us, like Michael when he did battle for Daniel for three weeks. Daniel 10:1-21. But we have to ask & make it clear to the Lord that we are making a “declaration of war”. Someone wisely pointed out that the below “helps” will not do any good if we have children who’ve turned against the Lord and don’t want help. They are only effective is someone wants help. 

However, talking about this subject may help some parents who’ve had children that have become bitter or suffering some kind of mental instability & hopefully this article will be an encouragement and shed some light on why our children are so attacked. The Devil has been attacking God’s children, even babies, for thousands of years. The Israelites even offered their newborns to the god Moloch and they were killed by fire. So the Devil even begins to attack children of Believers from the cradle on, since the beginning of time.

1) Pray in tongues. Praying in tongues is our spirit praying directly to God & our request coming directly before His Throne! And He will answer. Ephesians 3:16, “Be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.”—The inner man is your spirit.

2) Have specific prayer with others for the help you need. “One can chase a thousand, but two can put ten thousand to flight!” Deuteronomy 32:30.

3) Memorize verses on specific weaknesses. Just talk back to the Devil using a verse. Many of us do a lot of self-talking anyway, so why not talk back to the Devil? Jesus talked to him directly & told him where to go! "Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." Luke 4:8

4) Read a lot of Word: In the early days of the Jesus People Movement there were some new disciples that had drug overdoses or different mental problems. But through an ample diet of extra Word intake, their minds & thoughts were healed. “He sent His Word & healed them.”

5) Be aware of what’s going on, in other words “wisen up”. We know it’s the last days, we know the Enemy walks about as a lion trying to devour us, we know we are in a spiritual warfare.— Being aware will help us to prepare. “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11

6) Use the authority that is yours. “He gave them power against unclean spirits.” Matthew 10:1.

7) Bind & confine evil spirits. “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven.”—Angels will fight for you if you tell them what to do. Matthew 18:18.

8) Tell the Devil where to go! “Get thee behind me, Satan.” Matthew 16:23

9) Use Jesus’ name. “Even the devils are subject unto us through Your Name.” Luke 10:17.

10) Use it! “I give you power over all the power of the Enemy.” Luke 10:19.

11) Get control of your thoughts. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

12.) You’re not alone—Jesus is in you. “Greater is He that is in You, than he (the Devil) that is in the world.” 1 John.4:4

13.) Get angry & put up a fight, don’t take it lying down. You’re expected to do battle! “Resist steadfast in the faith.” 1 Peter 5:8-9. “Neither give place to the Devil.” Ephesians 4:27. “Put on the whole armor, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil.” Ephesians 6:10 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the Devil and he will flee from you." James 4:7

15) Jesus is praying for you! “…Satan has asked excessively that all of you be given up to him out of the power & keeping of God, that he might sift you like grain. But I have prayed especially for you [Peter], that your faith may not fail.” Luke 22:31-32. (Amplified version)

16) We do have a choice. We can control our actions—God has given us the weapon of “self-control”. “God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven & cringing & fawning fear), but He has given us a spirit of power & of love & of a calm & well-balanced mind & discipline & self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified version)

So we have a lot of power against the Enemy & against spiritual attacks on our minds & thoughts. We are not his victims & we have all the power of Heaven to slay him & defeat his onslaughts. Raise the sword of the Spirit & cut off his head. The weakest saint upon his knees is more mighty than the Devil himself. Do spiritual warfare in Jesus’ Name & take back your sanity, your mind, your mental health, clearness of thought, your joy & happiness, stability, your direction in life, & seek your purpose. You were created to be a brave & fearless soldier for Christ. 

"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." 1 John 3:8

Jesus didn’t die so the Enemy could beat you up, maim & paralyze you by stealing your mind. He died so you could defeat the Devil & punish him & his demons & send them back to their torment—and not be tormenting you! The Devil might try to sift you as wheat, but don’t forget, Jesus is praying for you so you can strengthen others! Fight & never give up! Victory is promised and it’s yours on earth as it is in Heaven! God bless and keep you fighting and winning vistories forever.

A Verdadeira Alegria do Natal

Em meio à agitação e barulho da temporada de festas, vamos fazer uma pausa para refletir sobre o significado do Natal.

Imagine o anseio de Israel enquanto esperavam o Messias prometido. Como seria esperar o cumprimento de uma promessa por muitas gerações? Pense nisso por um momento…

Como cristãos modernos, não precisamos esperar o cumprimento da promessa, nem experimentar o anseio de Israel por gerações. No entanto, podemos apreciar novamente a alegria de saber que nosso Messias realmente veio e que Deus nos guia e cumpre Suas promessas para nós hoje. Podemos sentir profunda alegria sabendo que o próprio Deus está conosco! Como foi predito, Ele nasceu de uma virgem para nossa salvação.

Que esta época de Natal o encontre com alegria considerando a vinda de nosso Salvador, Jesus Cristo—Emanuel, Deus conosco!—Emmanuel Bible College1

A alegria na mensagem

Todos os anos, quando leio a história do Natal, fico impressionado com o papel que os anjos desempenham nela. (…) Pense na situação em que os judeus viviam naquela época. Houve revelações de Deus no passado. Mas agora, por mais de quatrocentos anos, a voz profética ficou em silêncio. Malaquias, que viveu no quinto século antes de Cristo, foi o último dos profetas. Desde seus dias, ninguém havia sido levantado para declarar a firme palavra do Senhor.

Deus se esqueceu de Seu povo? Ele havia esquecido Suas promessas? De repente, os anjos aparecem, primeiro para Zacarias [Lucas 1:11-20] e depois para Maria [Lucas 1:26-38], José [Mateus 1:18-25] e os pastores [Lucas 2:8-20], e a palavra é anunciada: Deus não se esqueceu! Chegou a hora do cumprimento! ...

Então, veja bem, se o Natal significa alguma coisa, significa pelo menos isso - que Deus não se esqueceu de Seu povo. Esta é a primeira mensagem que gostaria de deixar com você. Você às vezes sente que Deus se esqueceu de você? Talvez você tenha orado por algo e não tenha recebido uma resposta, pelo menos não a resposta que estava esperando. Esta pode ser uma experiência muito difícil. Mas isso não significa que Deus se esqueceu. Acontece que Seus planos não seguem nossos horários. Seja paciente! Confia nele! Deus não se esqueceu de você! ...[Isaías 55:8-9; Jeremias 29:11]

Talvez você seja alguém que anseia pela volta do Senhor. As coisas parecem ir como sempre foram desde o início, e você quer algo melhor. Isso é bom. Esse tem sido o clamor do povo de Deus desde o princípio: “Até quando, ó Senhor, até quando?” Deus não esqueceu. Pedro nos diz que Deus demora apenas o tempo suficiente para chamar ao arrependimento todos aqueles que Ele determinou que deveriam crer (“Ele é longânimo para convosco, não querendo que ninguém pereça, senão que todos venham a arrepender-se.” — 2 Pedro 3:9) . Jesus está vindo! O Deus que não nos esqueceu na primeira vinda de Cristo não nos esquecerá na segunda.

A segunda mensagem trazida pelos anjos sobre o nascimento de Cristo é a mensagem a José... Como a mensagem a Maria, tem um destaque importante que, neste caso, é o anúncio da alegria. O anjo disse: “Não tenha medo. Trago-vos boas novas de grande alegria...” (Lucas 2:10).

 

A alegria é uma coisa maravilhosa; é uma parte apropriada do Natal. … A alegria é de Deus. Baseia-se no que Deus fez, é dado ao cristão por Deus e é sustentado por Deus. (…) Se você conhece essa alegria, pode prosseguir, como os anjos fizeram, para dar glória a Deus; e você pode possuir aquela paz de coração e alma que transcende a compreensão.[Efésios 3:13-21; Filippenses 4:4-8]—Dr. James Boice2

Encontrar alegria no Natal

Ouvimos mais sobre alegria durante a época do Natal do que talvez em qualquer outra época do ano. Como disse G. K. Chesterton: “A alegria, que era a pequena publicidade do pagão, é o gigantesco segredo do cristão”. Mas qual é a nossa alegria secreta? As férias podem se tornar tão movimentadas que a alegria da temporada parece indescritível…

O Salmo 16:11 declara: “Na tua presença há plenitude de alegria”. Esta verdade é simples. A alegria é encontrada ao passar tempo na presença de Deus, deleitando-se nele. … O salmista nos diz para entrar em Seus portões com ação de graças em nossos corações e entrar em seus átrios com louvor (Salmo 100:4). Mas quando você está cansado e fatigado, correndo de um evento para outro, a gratidão pode se perder na confusão.

Se isso soa familiar, reserve um tempo para registrar diariamente as coisas pelas quais você é grato. Quer você faça isso sozinho ou em família, você se sentirá sobrecarregado de gratidão e cheio de alegria que se estenderá além da temporada. Suas falhas não parecerão mais importantes. …

Quando nos concentramos em nós mesmos e em nossas inadequações, nos sentimos insignificantes e tímidos. Não há alegria nisso! Ninguém se sente como um pai, cônjuge ou filho perfeito. Todos nós temos defeitos. Por outro lado, quando nos concentramos em ser gratos por tudo o que Deus fez em nossas vidas e em sua bondade, nossas perspectivas mudam! Concentrar-se no Doador de cada boa dádiva é a chave que abre a porta da alegria.

Neemias 8:10 na Nova Tradução Viva diz assim: “Não fique desanimado e triste, pois a alegria do SENHOR é a sua força!” Nossa força espiritual está diretamente ligada à nossa alegria. Esta escritura sugere que a alegria é uma escolha. Quando escolhemos gratidão, escolhemos sua presença. Quando escolhemos sua presença, escolhemos a alegria. Podemos optar por nos concentrar no estresse do feriado ou na alegria que veio ao mundo por meio de uma manjedoura.

A alegria é algo mais profundo do que a felicidade porque a felicidade é determinada pelas circunstâncias externas. A alegria é determinada pelo que está acontecendo por dentro. (…) Tiago 1 nos lembra de considerarmos toda alegria quando passamos por provações e tribulações. Nós sabemos o final da história, então não importa em qual provação você se encontre hoje, saiba que nós vencemos porque Jesus pagou um alto preço pela nossa vitória! Este é o lugar da verdadeira e profunda alegria; o lugar onde você descobre que tudo funciona para o seu bem de qualquer maneira. [Romanos 8:35-39; Atos 5:39-42]

Encontre sua alegria hoje na presença de Deus. Faça um barulho alegre ao Senhor! Pronuncie alegremente a bondade de Deus em sua vida! Isso o fortalecerá e sua gratidão o conduzirá à presença dele, multiplicando sua alegria ao se concentrar em Deus e em sua bondade. Alegria ao Mundo! O Senhor veio. Que a terra receba seu Rei! Uma oração de natal

Querido Jesus,

Tu és Deus e homem, Rei dos reis e servo de todos. Você deixou Seu trono de imortalidade e se envolveu em carne humana. Você se tornou um de nós, para que pudesse nos salvar. A alegria inunda meu coração quando penso em como Você silenciosa e humildemente veio ao nosso mundo e o mudou para sempre. Quem poderia imaginar a transformação que viria através de um bebezinho, nascido de plebeus, enrolado em trapos, dormindo em um comedouro?

Quer os tempos sejam bons ou ruins, mesmo que eu não tenha mais ninguém, sempre terei Você e Seu amor - amor que resistiu ao teste do tempo, amor redentor, amor que salvou até a mim. Obrigado por fazer a escolha de experimentar tanto as alegrias quanto as tristezas de nossa vida terrena. Obrigado por suportar as lágrimas, a dor, a frustração, a solidão, a exaustão e, finalmente, a morte para que pudesse nos entender verdadeiramente. Caros Amigos,

Queremos agradecer a vossa ajuda, apoio e amizade durante o último ano e muitos anos anteriors. Oramos por vocês diariamente e que o Senhor supra todas as suas necessidades e o mantenha seguro sob Seus cuidades e o traga com segurança através de qualquer dificuldade que você possa encontrar. Embora as circunstâncias do mundo nos preocupem, estamos confiantes de que Deus está ao nosso lado e ao seu e Ele estará conosco durante o próximo ano para nos dar força para os nossos dias, o amor que precisamos para os outros e todos os nossos necessidades espirituais e físicas.  Se você ainda não aceitou o Rei dos Reis em seu coração e pediu a Ele por Sua graça salvadora, você pode fazer a seguinte oração: 

Querido Jesus, eu creio que Você é o Filho de Deus que veio ao mundo para nos salvar de nossos pecados.  Aceito o sacrifício que fizeste na cruz por mim. Peço a Você e ao Espírito Santo que entrem plenamente em minha vida para que eu possa encontrar plenitude de alegria em Ti e nas coisas do Espírito.  Perdoe minhas ofensas e ajude-me a crescer na fé em Você e no amor pelos outros. No precioso nome de Jesus, eo oro. Amém. Boa Natal
