The Beginnings of the Revolution for Jesus (CBS 1973)
Dennis Edwards: It was in November 7th, 1971 went I picked up two hitch-hiking hippies that I met the "Children of God." After we conversed about the war in Vietnam, the situation in America and the world, they led me in a prayer to receive Jesus as my Saviour. I thank God for those faithful disciples of Jesus. I would have never received Jesus from the luke-warm go to church on Sunday "Jesus People." But the "Children of God" were another kettle of fish, not perfect, not politically correct, but strongly opposed to the war in Vietnam. Their attitude against the war helped me accept the Jesus that they preached. It was a Revolution for Jesus, a revolution of peace and love. Full of mistakes and difficulties, but worth the struggles. No regrets. "Put your hand into the hand of God and He will be to thee better than a light and surer than a known way."
