Can Ivermectin Actually Treat Covid - 19?

Doctors Raise Awareness on Ivermectin Treatment for COVID-19

In an effort to help end the pandemic, an international coalition of medical experts is holding worldwide events Saturday to raise awareness about the effectiveness of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.

Organizers of the World Ivermectin Day say doctors and supporters of the inexpensive FDA-approved drug will host free online and public events in over a dozen countries.

Two nonprofits—Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance and the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD) group—who have been campaigning for the off-label use of ivermectin to prevent and treat COVID-19 say the event’s focus is to let more people know that the antiparasitic drug can treat COVID-19, possibly end the pandemic, and help eliminate fear of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

“We have an incredibly positive and uplifting message to share: ivermectin treats and prevents COVID and it is the key to unlocking the never-ending cycle of pandemic peaks and personal restrictions and will help restart economies,” Dr. Tess Lawrie, cofounder of the BIRD group said in a press release.

Lawrie is also a co-author of a peer-reviewed meta-analysis study published in the American Journal of Therapeutics that found ivermectin to be effective against COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP virus. Lawrie and her team concluded with a moderate level of confidence that ivermectin reduced the risk of death by an average of 62 percent, at a 95 percent confidence interval of 0.19-0.73, especially when prescribed early.

FLCCC Alliance also conducted their own review of 18 randomized controlled trials on COVID-19 treatment with ivermectin. They found “large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance.” The authors also said that studies on the prevention of COVID-19 reported significantly reduced risks of the disease with regular use of the drug.

Members of the FLCCC Alliance have developed various protocols for the prevention and early treatment of COVID-19,  instead of having patients wait until they develop a severe illness to receive treatment at the hospital. These treatment protocols including one for the management of long COVID are being used globally.

The current standard protocol for COVID-19 positive patients is to isolate at home, avoid dehydration, rest, and take over-the-counter medications for fever, headache, cough, and body pain.

According to updated guidance from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 and who are at high risk of disease progression, are recommended to take a monoclonal antibody if hospitalization or supplemental oxygen is not required.

Despite evidence showing ivermectin may treat all stages of COVID-19 and reduce death and hospitalization as a result of its anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties, the FDA has not approved its use, saying that the drug isn’t an anti-viral. The federal regulator issued a warning that people should not take ivermectin intended for horses as the larger doses may be harmful to humans.

The NIH has not changed its neutral stance on the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19, while the World Health Organization (WHO) does not recommend the use of the drug except in a clinical study. Both organizations cite insufficient data for not making a recommendation.

Unprecedented Censorship

Online discussions of ivermectin have faced an unprecedented level of suppression with doctors claiming that their videos are being taken down or their LinkedIn accounts closed.

Lawrie said she has experienced censorship with her work on ivermectin, claiming that her videos about the drug have been removed and posts censored on social media.

“I have experienced a lot of censorship ever since I started doing work on ivermectin (never before),” Lawrie told The Epoch Times via email. “I have had my post of my published peer-reviewed scientific manuscript removed from LinkedIn.”

She also said that many people have informed her that their accounts would be restricted or censored “if they post the work my company has produced on ivermectin or interviews that I have done.”

LinkedIn did not reply to a request for comment.

Dr. Mobeen Syed, chief executive officer of Drbeen Corp, an online medical education, said YouTube took down three of his videos on ivermectin within 24 hours.

“[Third] book burnt in 24 hours. @Youtube @TeamYouTube continue to burn books,” Syed said on Twitter on July 11. “This video was important to keep people safe who are using ivermectin regardless of what YouTube thinks.”

YouTube did not reply to The Epoch Times inquiry on clarification of which terms or conditions Syed’s videos had violated.

Ivermectin is not the only topic being suppressed or blocked by Big Tech firms. Social media posts about the lab leak theory that the CCP virus escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, and information that goes against the narrative about the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine has also been censored.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki suggested at a White House briefing that people should be banned from all social media platforms if they post misinformation online about COVID-19 vaccines, alleging that this type of information was “leading to people not taking the vaccine.” Psaki’s suggestion has drawn widespread condemnation.

Regardless of the suppression of ivermectin around the world, people have found unique ways to get the information out. Social media posts of lawn signs have appeared in Manitoba, Canada with a simple message that reads, “Ivermectin treats COVID-19” along with the FLCCC website listed.

Members of the FLCCC Alliance said in a reply to an email that they would continue their mission in getting ivermectin approved for COVID-19 despite the censorship.

“Thank you for your email. Abandoning our mission is not [an] option. Yes, it has been hell. But as Winston Churchill once said, ‘If you’re going through hell, keep going.’ So if we need to leave you here, we understand. But we’ll march on. Your life matters that much,” the nonprofit said earlier this month.

Eu temia o povo e obedecia à sua voz!

“E Saul disse a Samuel: Pequei; porque transgredi o mandamento do Senhor e as tuas palavras; porque temi o povo e obedeci à sua voz. Agora, portanto, peço-te, perdoe meu pecado e volte comigo, para que eu possa adorar o Senhor. Disse mais Samuel a Saul: Não voltarei contigo, porque rejeitaste a palavra do Senhor, e o Senhor te rejeitou para não ser rei de Israel.

“E Samuel se virou para ir embora, e Saul agarrou a saia da capa de Samuel e a rasgou. E Samuel lhe disse: O Senhor rasgou de ti hoje o reino de Israel, e o deu a um teu próximo, que é melhor do que tu. ” [1 Samuel 15: 24-28]

Ontem vimos como Deus deseja que o amemos e obedeçamos. Ele deseja nosso amor e obediência à Sua voz mais do que todos os sacrifícios que podemos oferecer a Ele. Vimos que Deus habita em nosso louvor e em nossa ação de graças. Vimos que Ele vive com um coração quebrantado e contrito. Vimos que Ele deseja que façamos o bem e sejamos justos, mais do que qualquer sacrifício que possamos oferecer a Ele.

Jesus fez o sacrifício final quando morreu pelos pecados do mundo e nenhum outro sacrifício é necessário. Mas Deus espera que, por sua vez, ofereçamos nossas vidas como um sacrifício vivo a Ele, para que Ele possa nos usar em Seu objetivo de amar e ajudar os outros em Seu reino.

Na leitura de hoje, vemos a triste história do Rei Saul que não amava o Senhor Seu Deus com todo o Seu coração, mente, corpo e alma. Em vez de temer a Deus, o que Salomão mais tarde diria que era todo o dever do homem, Saul temia o povo. Ele não amou o Senhor, nem obedeceu a Sua voz, nem se apegou a Ele como o Senhor ordenou. Ele deixou que o poder, a popularidade, a posição e os resultados positivos subissem à sua cabeça. Ele se esqueceu de que foi Deus que lhe deu todas as coisas e pensou que foi seu próprio braço que o salvou.

Ele confessa ao profeta Samuel: “Temi o povo e obedeci à sua voz”.

Como ele poderia ser um homem de Deus se se recusasse a obedecer aos mandamentos de Deus por meio de Seu porta-voz escolhido - o profeta? Como ele poderia ser um homem de Deus quando temia a voz do povo mais do que o próprio Deus? Nos provérbios que lemos,

“O temor do homem traz um laço, mas o que põe a sua confiança no Senhor está seguro.”

Você quer proteção e segurança? Então coloque sua confiança em Deus, não na voz da multidão, na voz do povo, na voz do homem. Ouça aquela voz mansa e delicada de Deus e obedeça a Sua voz. Isso é o que fará de você um homem e lhe trará a segurança máxima sob Suas asas, mesmo que os homens se levantem contra você.

Saul tinha medo de seus colegas. Ele tinha medo da opinião do mundo. Jesus nos disse que não somos deste mundo, mas Ele nos escolheu fora deste mundo para sermos seus embaixadores do amor e da verdade. Não podemos ser seus embaixadores se amamos o mundo e as coisas do mundo.

O apóstolo João nos disse que “tudo o que há no mundo, a concupiscência da carne, a concupiscência dos olhos e a soberba da vida, não é do Pai, mas do mundo. E o mundo passa e a sua concupiscência; mas aquele que faz a vontade de Deus permanece para sempre. ”[1 João 2: 16-17]

O apóstolo Tiago afirma claramente que, se somos amigos do mundo, então somos inimigos de Deus. [Tiago 4: 4] Jesus disse: “Você não pode servir a Deus e a Mamom.” [Mateus 6:24] O que é “Mamom” mas a riqueza e as coisas do mundo que o dinheiro pode comprar. Você não pode dizer que ama a Deus primeiro, se ama o dinheiro e as coisas que o dinheiro pode comprar, acima de Deus. Você não pode dizer que teme a Deus e guarda os seus mandamentos, se de fato teme o homem e guarda os seus mandamentos. Jesus disse,

“Não temas os que podem matar o corpo, mas não podem matar a alma; temei antes aquele que pode fazer perecer no inferno tanto a alma como o corpo.” [Mateus 10:28]

No primeiro Provérbio, lemos: “O temor do Senhor é o princípio do conhecimento, mas os tolos desprezam a sabedoria e a instrução.” [Provérbios 1: 7] O rei Saul desprezou a Deus quando aceitou o temor do homem. Sua prosperidade e sucesso o enganaram e ele escolheu não manter o temor do Senhor. Mas Deus promete que aqueles que O ouvem, que guardam seu temor do Senhor, “habitarão em segurança e ficarão quietos do temor do mal”. [Provérbios 1:33]

Você quer "morar com segurança ... sem medo do mal?" Em seguida, faça como o apóstolo Paulo aconselhou: "Saia do meio deles e separai-vos ... e eu (o Senhor) vos receberei e serei um Pai para vós e sereis meus filhos e filhas, diz o Senhor Todo-Poderoso. "[2 Coríntios 6: 17-18] Precisamos estar separados dos incrédulos em espírito e ação, e em nosso pensamento e visão de mundo.

Precisamos perceber que somos diferentes porque temos diferentes sistemas de crenças iniciais. Por causa de nossas crenças iniciais, estamos no mundo, mas não somos do mundo. Jesus disse isso. [João 17:16] Ele orou para que Deus nos separasse do mundo por meio de Sua verdade, Sua palavra é a verdade. [João 17:17]

Em última análise, o fato de acreditarmos na verdade revelada de Deus encontrada em Sua palavra nos separa daqueles que não acreditam. É por isso que acabamos chegando a conclusões diferentes em muitos assuntos. Alguns aceitam o raciocínio do homem como a autoridade suprema. Outros aceitam Deus e Sua palavra como autoridade suprema. Mas nunca os dois se encontrarão. Lemos no Evangelho: “Portanto, houve divisão entre o povo por causa Dele.” [João 7:43] Jesus causa divisão.

Alguns acreditam e querem segui-lo, outros, não. Alguns têm medo do homem, como o rei Saul. Alguns têm medo de Deus, como o rei Davi. Cada homem deve prestar contas de si mesmo. [Romanos 14:12]

Amanhã veremos alguns outros líderes políticos e religiosos que temiam o homem em vez de Deus. Por favor, não deixe que seja você. “Teme a Deus e guarda os Seus mandamentos porque este é todo o dever do homem.” [Eclesiastes 12: 13b]

Ahora pues, te ruego que perdones mi pecado y vuélvete conmigo para que adore al Señor. Y Samuel dijo a Saúl: No volveré contigo, porque tú has rechazado la palabra de Jehová, y Jehová te ha desechado para que no seas rey sobre Israel.

“Y Samuel se volvió para irse, y Saúl se asió al borde del manto de Samuel y lo rasgó. Y Samuel le dijo: Hoy el Señor ha arrancado de ti el reino de Israel, y lo ha dado a un prójimo tuyo que es mejor que tú ”. [1 Samuel 15: 24-28]

Ayer vimos cómo Dios quiere que lo amemos y lo obedezcamos. Quiere nuestro amor y obediencia a Su voz más que todos los sacrificios que pudiéramos ofrecerle. Vimos que Dios habita en nuestra alabanza y en nuestra acción de gracias. Vimos que vive en un corazón contrito y quebrantado. Vimos que Él quiere que hagamos el bien y seamos justos, más que cualquier sacrificio que podamos ofrecerle.

Jesús hizo el máximo sacrificio cuando murió por los pecados del mundo y no se necesita ningún otro sacrificio. Pero Dios sí espera que nosotros, a su vez, le ofrezcamos nuestras vidas como un sacrificio vivo, para que Él pueda usarnos en Su meta de amar y ayudar a otros a entrar en Su reino.

En la lectura de hoy vemos la triste historia del rey Saúl que no amó al Señor su Dios con todo su corazón, mente, cuerpo y alma. En lugar de tener temor de Dios, que Salomón más tarde diría que era todo el deber del hombre, Saúl temía al pueblo. No amó al Señor, ni obedeció su voz, ni se unió a él como el Señor le había mandado. Dejó que el poder, la popularidad, la posición y los resultados positivos se le subieran a la cabeza. Olvidó que fue Dios quien le dio todas las cosas y pensó que era su propio brazo el que lo había salvado.

Le confiesa al profeta Samuel: "Temí al pueblo y obedecí su voz".

¿Cómo podría ser un hombre de Dios si rehusaba obedecer los mandamientos de Dios a través de Su portavoz elegido: el profeta? ¿Cómo podía ser un hombre de Dios cuando temía la voz del pueblo más que a Dios mismo? En los proverbios leemos,

"El temor del hombre es una trampa, pero el que confía en el Señor estará a salvo".

¿Quieres seguridad y protección? Entonces confíen en Dios, no en la voz de la multitud, la voz del pueblo, la voz del hombre. Escuche esa voz suave y apacible de Dios y obedezca Su voz. Eso es lo que te convertirá en un hombre y te brindará la máxima seguridad bajo Sus alas, incluso si los hombres se levantan contra ti.

Saúl tenía miedo de sus compañeros. Tenía miedo de la opinión del mundo. Jesús nos ha dicho que no somos de este mundo, pero nos ha elegido de este mundo para ser sus embajadores del amor y la verdad. No podemos ser sus embajadores si amamos al mundo y las cosas del mundo.

El apóstol Juan nos ha dicho que, “Todo lo que hay en el mundo, los deseos de la carne, los deseos de los ojos y la vanagloria de la vida, no es del Padre, sino del mundo. Y el mundo pasa, y sus deseos; pero el que hace la voluntad de Dios permanece para siempre ”[1 Juan 2: 16-17].

El apóstol Santiago dice claramente que si somos amigos del mundo, entonces somos enemigos de Dios. [Santiago 4: 4] Jesús dijo: "No puedes servir a Dios y a Mammón". [Mateo 6:24] ¿Qué es "Mammón"? sino la riqueza y las cosas del mundo que el dinero puede comprar. No puedes decir que amas a Dios primero, si amas el dinero y las cosas que el dinero puede comprar, por encima de Dios. No puedes decir que temes a Dios y guardas sus mandamientos, si de hecho temes al hombre y guardas sus mandamientos. Jesus dijo,

"No temáis a los que pueden matar el cuerpo pero no pueden matar el alma, temed más bien a aquel que puede destruir el alma y el cuerpo en el infierno". [Mateo 10:28]

En el primer proverbio leemos: “El temor de Jehová es el principio de la ciencia; pero los necios desprecian la sabiduría y la instrucción”. [Proverbios 1: 7] El rey Saúl despreció a Dios cuando abrazó el temor del hombre. Su prosperidad y éxito lo engañaron y decidió no guardar el temor del Señor. Pero Dios promete que aquellos que le escuchan, que guardan el temor del Señor, “habitarán seguros y estarán tranquilos del temor del mal” [Proverbios 1:33].

¿Quieres "vivir con seguridad ... por miedo al mal"? Entonces haz lo que el apóstol Pablo ha advertido: "Salid de en medio de ellos y apartaos ... y yo (el Señor) os recibiré y seré para vosotros un Padre, y vosotros seréis mis hijos e hijas", dice. el Señor Todopoderoso ". [2 Corintios 6: 17-18] Necesitamos estar separados en espíritu y en acción, y en nuestro pensamiento y visión del mundo de los incrédulos.

Necesitamos darnos cuenta de que somos diferentes porque tenemos diferentes sistemas de creencias iniciales. Debido a nuestras creencias iniciales, estamos en el mundo, pero no somos del mundo. Jesús lo dijo [Juan 17:16] Él oró para que Dios nos separara del mundo a través de Su verdad, Su palabra es verdad. [Juan 17:17]

En última instancia, el hecho de que creemos en la verdad revelada de Dios que se encuentra en Su palabra nos separa de aquellos que no creen. Por eso llegamos a conclusiones diferentes sobre muchos temas. Algunos aceptan el razonamiento del hombre como la máxima autoridad. Otros aceptan a Dios y su palabra como la máxima autoridad. Pero nunca los dos se encontrarán. Leemos en el Evangelio: "Entonces hubo disensión entre el pueblo a causa de él" [Juan 7:43]. Jesús provoca una división.

Algunos creen y quieren seguirlo, otros, no. Algunos temen al hombre, como el rey Saúl. Algunos temen a Dios, como el rey David. Cada hombre debe dar cuenta de sí mismo.[Romanos 14:12]

Mañana veremos a otros líderes políticos y religiosos que temían al hombre más que a Dios. Por favor, no dejes que seas tú. "Teme a Dios y guarda sus mandamientos, porque este es todo el deber del hombre" [Eclesiastés 12: 13b].

I feared the people, and obeyed their voice!

“And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their  voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the Lord.  And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou has rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected thee from being king over Israel.

“And Samuel turned about to go away, and Saul laid hold upon the skirt of Samuel’s mantle, and rent it. And Samuel said unto him, The Lord has rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and has given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.”[1 Samuel 15:24-28]

Yesterday we saw how God wants us to love and obey Him. He wants our love and obedience to His voice more than all the sacrifices we could offer Him. We saw that God dwells in our praise and in our thanksgiving. We saw that He lives in a broken and contrite heart. We saw He wants us to do good and be just more than any sacrifice we could offer Him.

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice when He died for the sins of the world and no other sacrifice is needed. But God does expect that we in turn offer our lives as a living sacrifice unto Him, so that He can use us to in His goal of loving and helping others into His kingdom.

In today’s reading we see the sad story of King Saul who did not love the Lord His God with all His heart, mind, body, and soul. Instead of having a fear of God, which Solomon later would say was the whole duty of man, Saul had a fear of the people. He did not love the Lord, nor obey His voice, nor cleave to Him as the Lord had commanded. He let power, popularity, position and positive results go to his head. He forgot that it was God that gave him all things and thought it was his own arm that had saved him.

He confesses to Samuel the prophet, “I feared the people and obeyed their voice.”

How could he be God’s man if he refused to obey God’s commandments  through His chosen mouth piece – the prophet? How could he be God’s man when he feared the voice of the people more than God Himself? In the proverbs we read,

“The fear of man brings a snare, but whoso puts his trust in the Lord shall be safe.”

Do you want safety and security? Then put your trust in God, not in the voice of the crowd, the voice of the people, the voice of man. Listen to that still small voice of God and obey His voice. That’s what will make you a man and bring you ultimate safety under His wings even if men rise up against you.

Saul was afraid of his peers. He was afraid of the opinion of the world. Jesus has told us that we are not of this world, but He has chosen us out of this world to be His Ambassadors of love and truth. We cannot be His Ambassadors if we love the world and the things of the world.

The Apostle John has told us that, “All that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides for ever.”[1 John 2:16-17]

The Apostle James states plainly that if we are friends of the world, then we are enemies of God.[James 4:4] Jesus said, “You cannot serve God and Mammon.”[Matthew 6:24] What is “Mammon” but the wealth, and the things of the world that money can buy. You cannot say you love God first, if you love money and the things that money can buy, above God. You cannot say you fear God and keep His commandments, if you in fact fear man and keep his commandments. Jesus said,

“Fear not them which can kill the body but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”[Matthew 10:28]

In the first Proverb we read, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”[Proverbs 1:7] King Saul despised God when he embraced the fear of man. His prosperity and success deceived him and he chose not to keep the fear of the Lord. But God promises that those who hearken unto Him, who keep their fear of the Lord, “shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.”[Proverbs 1:33]

Do you want to "dwell safely...from fear of evil?" Then do as Apostle Paul has admonished, "Come out from among them, and be ye separate.., and I (the Lord) will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."[2 Corinthians 6:17-18] We need to be separate in spirit and in action, and in our thinking and world view from the unbelievers. 

We need to realize we are different because we have different initial belief systems. Because of our initial beliefs, we are in the world, but we are not of the world. Jesus said it.[John 17:16] He prayed that God would separate us from the world through His truth, His word is truth.[John 17:17]

Ultimately the fact that we believe God's revealed truth found in His word separates us from those who do not believe. That is why we end up coming to different conclusions on many issues. Some accept man's reasoning as the ultimate authority. Others accept God and His word as the ultimate authority. But never the twain shall meet. We read in the Gospel, "So there was a division among the people because of Him."[John 7:43] Jesus causes a division. 

Some believe and want to follow Him, others, no. Some have fear of man, like King Saul. Some have fear of God, like King David. Each man must give account for himself.[Romans 14:12]

Tomorrow we will look at some other political and religious leaders who feared man rather than God. Please do not let that be you. “Fear God and keep His commandments for : for this is the whole duty of man.”[Ecclesiastes 12:13b]

¿Qué quiere Dios más que nuestros sacrificios?

Más que nuestros sacrificios, Dios quiere que lo amemos. Si lo amamos, obedeceremos su voz y obedeceremos sus palabras. Jesús dijo: "Si me amas, guarda mis mandamientos". [Juan 14:15]

El profeta Samuel se topó con el rey Saúl después de que Saúl obtuvo una gran victoria militar. Sin embargo, Saúl no había obedecido la voz del Señor a través de Su profeta y siguió las instrucciones del profeta que eran de no tomar nada vivo. El rey había tomado vivos las cabras, las ovejas y el ganado, y ofrecía de ellos un sacrificio al Señor. El rey tampoco había matado al rey de sus enemigos, sino que lo había mantenido con vida, contrario al mandato de Dios por medio de Su profeta.

"Y Samuel (el profeta) dijo: ¿Tiene Jehová tanto deleite en los holocaustos y sacrificios, como en obedecer la voz del Señor? He aquí, obedecer es mejor que sacrificar, y escuchar que la grasa de carneros. Porque la rebelión es como pecado de hechicería, y como iniquidad e idolatría es la obstinación ". [1 Samuel 15: 22-23a]

Dios dice que nuestra negativa a obedecer Su voz suave y apacible es equivalente a la hechicería y la idolatría. En el Antiguo Testamento esos eran pecados castigados con la muerte. Mientras el pueblo de Dios se preparaba para entrar en la Tierra Prometida, Dios les dijo:

"Si escuchas la voz del Señor tu Dios para guardar sus mandamientos y sus estatutos que están escritos en este libro de la ley, y si te vuelves al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma ... te bendecirá Jehová tu Dios en la tierra adonde vas para poseerla "[Deuteronomio 30: 10,16b]

"A los cielos y a la tierra llamo por testimonio contra ti este día, que he puesto delante de ti la vida y la muerte, la bendición y la maldición; escoge, pues, la vida, para que vivan tú y tu descendencia, para que ames al Señor tu Dios, y para que escuches su voz y te unas a él; porque él es la vida, y la duración de tus días ... "[Deuteronomio 30: 19,20a]

Dios quiere que lo amemos y obedezcamos su voz más que cualquier sacrificio que podamos ofrecerle. De hecho, en los salmos leemos:

"Oh Señor, abre mis labios, y mi boca proclamará tu alabanza. Porque no deseas sacrificio; de lo contrario, lo daría; no te deleitas en holocausto. Los sacrificios de Dios son un espíritu quebrantado: quebrantado y a corazón contrito, oh Dios, no despreciarás ". [Salmo 51: 15-17]

Dios quiere que tengamos un corazón humilde y quebrantado en el que Él pueda vivir y usarnos para amar a los demás.

En el libro de Hebreos leemos que Jesús hizo el sacrificio máximo. Es nuestro creerlo y aceptarlo. Y, sin embargo, Dios tiene un sacrificio que podemos ofrecer.

"Por Él (Jesús), por tanto, ofrezcamos continuamente a Dios sacrificio de alabanza, es decir, fruto de labios que alaban su nombre. Pero para hacer el bien y comunicar, no olviden: porque tales sacrificios se agradan a Dios. . " [Hebreos 13: 15-16]

Necesitamos usar el sacrificio de alabanza porque Dios vive en la alabanza de su pueblo. Entramos en su presencia con alabanza y acción de gracias. También quiere que hagamos el bien y nos comuniquemos con los demás, hablemos con los demás, compartamos su amor y palabras de aliento a los demás: comuniquemos el Evangelio. Y finalmente dice,

"Os ruego, pues, hermanos, por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable a Dios, que es vuestro razonable servicio". [Romanos 12: 1]

Debido a nuestro amor por Dios, Él quiere que toda nuestra vida sea un sacrificio en servicio a Él y a los demás. Amémoslo. Escuchemos y obedezcamos su voz que nos llama a dar gracias al Señor por su misericordia para con nosotros. Ofrezcamos el sacrificio de alabanza y acción de gracias. Continuemos venciendo el mal con el bien caminando con un corazón contrito y quebrantado. Entonces nuestra vida será un sacrificio vivo para el Señor.

 "Hacer lo recto y justo es más agradable al Señor que el sacrificio". [Proverbios 21: 3]
