First thing in the morning, before you talk to anybody, listen to the still small voice of God. “Thy voice shall I hear in the morning. I will direct my prayer unto You and will look up.”

You’re not going to make it unless you learn to fine tune your hearing, to a tune yourself to listen to My still small voice. There are many voice saying which way to go. Some say “here” and some say “there.” In the mad rush to get things done, the wrong voice may be perceived as being Mine.

Slow down. Go slow. Let the urgency subside and the confusion lift. Stop, look, and listen. Let My gentle voice break through like the first rays of the early sunlight break upon and enlighten the darkness.

Calm yourself down through praise and thanksgiving. That’s how you  enter into My presence with praise and thanksgiving. They are the keys that unlock the door and allow you to enter in. Lift up your voice with a song, a verse, a word of praise and be thankful.

It’s the enemy of your soul that encourages you to rush, rush, rush, saying, “You don’t have time to stop,” But I’m calling you to, “Stop and Look and Listen,” before you get run over. I’m calling you to tap into the power, the power of My Holy Spirit, the power of God within you. But you must slow it down. You must go slow. By going slow you get there faster.

It is in the still quiet of the morning watch, when the due is still upon the roses and the voice of the morning birds is heard chirping in the early morning sunlight, that My voice can be heard gently, softly, quietly, yet surely calling you, saying, “This is the way walk you in it, when you turn to the left, and when you turn to the right,”

In the quietness of the early moments, you can gain the confidence and the strength you’ll need for the day by tapping into Me, the source of all wisdom, strength, love, and knowledge. Don’t neglect those early morning rises. They were once sacred to the early reformers, the early pioneers, and to many of my followers down through the ages.

I rose a great while before it was day to get alone with My Father. I am reminding you, that you must do the same. It is in the quiet early moments that you will hear My still small voice and know the way wherein you must walk. Be still and you will hear My voice rise above the confusion. Be still and know that I am God, and that there is none beside Me. I will be exalted in the earth. I will be exalted before the nations. Let your heart exalt Me today. Be still.
