The Daily Voice
“You shall have no other gods before Me.” – Exodus 20:3
“You shall not bow down to them or serve them: for I the
Lord your God am a jealous God.” Exodus 20:5a
Lord, are we really seeking you daily and relying upon you
for our life and substance? Or do we have other gods that we are
worshipping and looking to for our salvation, our finances, our health?
Jesus speaking:
I am asking each one to look to Me with all their heart,
mind, body, and soul. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your minds that you prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of
My Father. How can your minds be renewed if you spend so little time in My
Word, meditating upon it and applying it to your lives. The key to success in
every area of life is putting Me and My word first and foremost and applying it
to your lives. Be doers of the word and not hearers only. The wise constructors
build their house, their lives, on obedience to My word. The foolish, heard the
word, but did not apply it. The secret is in the obedience. Remember, I would have
obedience rather than sacrifice.
Many are seeking to false gods to save them. They go to “white”
witches or follow some new science or new spiritual teaching. I have warned
about these things in My word. Remember if it is not according to My word, it has
no light in it. If the light that it seems to have is darkness, then how great
is that darkness, because you believe that it is light. I am the light of the
world. He that comes to Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light
of lights. I am saddened that so many have been deceived. The serpent has
beguiled your minds from the simplicity which is in Christ.
The solution is in seeking Me with all your hearts. The
solution is in putting aside these false new gods and coming heart, soul, and
mind unto Me. I am the God of all flesh. Is there anything to hard for Me? If
you seek Me with all your heart, you shall find Me. As long as you are seeking
elsewhere from Me for your salvation, you will not find it. Seek Me, the author
and finisher of your faith. In Me is fulness of life, abundant life. All other
paths lead to death.
Come unto me all you that are weary and heavy laden and I will
give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for My yoke is easy, and
My burden is light. I am still calling. Why do you seek for help from those
that are not gods? Can the gods of these nations and peoples around you save
you? Ho, everyone that thirsts come here to the water, the waters of life, My
word. Drink and be satisfied and you shall find food for your souls and health
to your flesh, but you would not. In quietness and confidence shall be your
strength. In other words, by spending time in quiet meditation with Me, you
would be saved and healed, and helped, and find solutions, but you would not.
You leaned to your own understanding, like King Saul, and relied upon the arm
of flesh to save you, but it will come to nought.
Repent and come back to your first love, Me, the Lamb which
was slain from the foundation of the world. I am the One that can save you. I
am the One that can bring you health, and wealth, and well-being. But you must
seek Me first and foremost before all other gods or goddesses. It is in coming
back to Me with all your heart, mind, body, and strength that you will find
salvation. There is no other name under heaven whereby you must be saved than
in Me. Come to Me, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, and you shall mount up with wings like eagles; you shall run
and not be weary. You shall walk and not faint. Your health shall spring forth
speedily. But you must diligently hearken unto My voice and give ear to My
commandments, and do that which is right in My sight. No other gods can save
you, only Me. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the
Father, but by Me. Come, I am here waiting.
