The Daily Voice – December 15, 2025

1 Kings 19:11-13 - King James Version

“And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

“And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Lord, speak to me about the situation of my friend.

Jesus speaking:

Trust in Me with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Your ways are not My ways, neither are your thoughts, My thoughts. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so are My ways and thoughts above yours.

Come to Me with all your problems, all your uncertainties. Bring them all to Me in prayer and supplication and lay them at My feet. I will take them and remake them. I will make all things new, for if any man be in Me, he shall be a new creature. Old things are passed away, all things are becoming new.

Therefore, forget the things which are behind and reach forth to the things which are before. For My eye is on the sparrow and you know I’m watching you. For not one sparrow falls to the ground without My Father’s knowledge. Are not you and he of more value than many sparrows? Fear not, as I feed the sparrow, I will feed and care for you and for your friend.

Trust in Me for your friend and the seemingly difficult situation. Each one must decide for himself and be sure in his own heart and mind of My will for him. Decisions, decisions, it’s a time of decisions. Bring those decisions to Me and trust Me for the outcome. I am working in each one’s heart. Be gentle. Be compassionate. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. Be kind and considerate.

Lift up your friend in prayer and supplication. He is in My hands and is greatly loved of My Father. Encourage him the best you can. Make his way safe and easy. Be a nursing father that he faint not in the way. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Make it so for him. In doing so, you will please Me. Encourage those that are weak and fainting. Give them the rest they need. For in quietness and confidence shall be your strength. Get quiet before Me and listen. Let My love and understanding fill your heart and soul.

Rest in Me. Wait patiently for Me. My presence shall come and not tarry, and you shall abide in My peace. My peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Keep your eyes and heart and mind stayed upon Me and you shall have the peace of God that passes all human understanding. Great peace have they which love My law and nothing shall offend them. Go in peace, for the God of peace is with you. Amen.
