Señor, ¿por qué están tan tristes y angustiados los ricos?
Jesús habla de Su Palabra registrada:
¿De qué le servirá al hombre ganar el mundo entero si pierde su alma? ¿O qué dará el hombre a cambio de su alma? Porque todo lo que hay en el mundo, los deseos de la carne, los deseos de los ojos y la vanagloria de la vida, no proviene del Padre, sino del mundo. Y el mundo pasa, y sus deseos, pero el que hace la voluntad de Dios permanece para siempre.
Porque nada trajimos al mundo, y es cierto que nada podremos llevarnos. Y teniendo ropa y abrigo, estemos, pues, contentos. Pero los ricos caen en tentación y lazo, y en muchas codicias necias y dañinas, que hunden a los hombres en destrucción y perdición. Porque el amor al dinero es la raÃz de todos los males; codiciando algunos, se han extraviado de la fe y se han atormentado con muchos dolores.
Pero tú, hombre de Dios, huye de estas cosas; sigue la justicia, la piedad, la fe, el amor, la paciencia y la mansedumbre. Pelea la buena batalla de la fe, en la que estás llamado a profesar una buena profesión de fe ante muchos testigos, porque el tiempo está cerca. No acumulen tesoros en la tierra, donde la polilla y el óxido corrompen, y ladrones minan y roban. Más bien, acumulen tesoros en el cielo, donde ni la polilla ni el óxido corrompen, y donde ladrones no minan ni roban. Porque donde esté tu tesoro, allà estará también tu corazón.
Atesoren una corona incorruptible de justicia, la cual el Señor, juez justo, les dará en aquel dÃa; y no solo a ustedes, sino a todos los que aman su venida. Sabiendo que quien resucitó al Señor Jesús, también a nosotros nos resucitará por medio de Jesús y nos presentará juntamente con ustedes. Porque todo esto es por amor a ustedes, para que la abundante gracia, mediante la acción de gracias de muchos, redunde para la gloria de Dios.
Por lo cual no desmayamos; antes bien, aunque nuestro hombre exterior perezca, el interior se renueva dÃa a dÃa. Porque nuestra leve tribulación, que es momentánea, produce en nosotros un peso de gloria mucho más excelente y eterno, mientras no ponemos la vista en las cosas visibles, sino en las invisibles. Porque las cosas visibles son temporales, pero las invisibles son eternas. Porque es necesario que todos comparezcamos ante el tribunal de Cristo, para que cada uno reciba lo que haya hecho mientras estaba en el cuerpo, según lo que haya hecho, sea bueno o malo. Por lo tanto, teme a Dios y guarda sus mandamientos, porque este es el deber integral del hombre.

Senhor, porque estão os ricos tão tristes e em aflição?
Jesus falando da Sua Palavra registada:
Pois que aproveita ao homem ganhar o mundo inteiro e perder a sua alma? Ou que dará o homem em troca da sua alma? Porque tudo o que há no mundo, a concupiscência da carne, a concupiscência dos olhos e a soberba da vida, não vem do Pai, mas do mundo. Ora, o mundo e a sua concupiscência passam; mas aquele que faz a vontade de Deus permanece para sempre.
Porque nada trouxemos para o mundo, e nada podemos levar dele. Tendo, pois, sustento e com que nos vestir, estejamos contentes. Mas os ricos caem em tentação, em ciladas e em muitos desejos insensatos e nocivos, que levam os homens à ruÃna e à perdição. Porque o amor ao dinheiro é a raiz de todos os males; e alguns, nessa cobiça, desviaram-se da fé e trespassaram-se a si mesmos com muitas dores.
Mas tu, homem de Deus, foge destas coisas e procura a justiça, a piedade, a fé, o amor, a paciência, a mansidão. Combata o bom combate da fé, para o qual foi chamado a fazer a boa confissão da sua fé diante de muitas testemunhas, pois o tempo está próximo. Não acumulem para vós tesouros na terra, onde a traça e a ferrugem destroem, e onde os ladrões arrombam e furtam. Mas acumulem para vós tesouros no céu, onde a traça e a ferrugem não destroem, e onde os ladrões não arrombam nem furtam. Pois onde estiver o vosso tesouro, aà estará também o vosso coração.

Por isso, não desanimamos; embora o nosso exterior se desgaste, o nosso interior renova-se dia após dia. Pois a nossa leve e momentânea tribulação produz em nós um peso eterno de glória mui excelente, enquanto fixamos os olhos, não no que se vê, mas no que não se vê; pois o que se vê é transitório, mas o que não se vê é eterno. Porque todos devemos comparecer perante o tribunal de Cristo, para que cada um receba segundo o que tiver feito por meio do corpo, ou bem, ou mal. Por isso, temei a Deus e guardem os seus mandamentos, pois este é o dever de todo o homem.

Lord, why are the rich so sad and in turmoil?
Jesus speaking from His recorded Word:
What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world
and lose his soul. Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For all
that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the
pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world. And the world passes
away and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides forever.
For we brought nothing into the world, and it is certain
that we can carry nothing out. And having for and raiment let us therefore be
content. But they that are rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many
foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For
the love of money is the root of all evil, which while some coveted after, they
have erred from the faith, and have pierced themselves though with many
sorrows.
But, you, man of God, flee these things; and follow after
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight

Like the mottos of today, we are told we have to discover ourselves and our true identity. Much of our modern way of thinking is founded upon false assumptions and principles. Instead of finding God's will for our lives, we seek to establish our own wills and desires.
3 When the wicked comes, then comes also contempt, and with ignominy reproach.
4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.
5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
6 A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes.
7 A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.
8 The words of a talebearer (or gossip) are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Here's a key verse and truth. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. We can call upon it and find safety and salvation. "For this is none other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved," Acts 4:12. "That at the name of Jesus of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father," Philippians 2:10-11. "Whatsoever things you ask the Father in My name, I will do it," John 14:13.

The rich man believes his wealth will save him. But his wealth ends up ministering to his pride, and as the next verse show, pride leads to destruction.

If we are encouraged, we can face any problem and difficulty with faith that God will see us through the storm out to victory. But if we are discouraged, we're defeated already. Fight discouragement and fight for joy. The joy of the Lord is your strength.

Your talents and abilities will make a place for you wherever you are. Develop those God given talents and God will use you to your greatest capacity.

Try not to offend others. The wounds we cause others may be hard for them to recuperate from.

God wants you to share His love and truth with others. That's where real happiness comes from, from opening our mouths and sharing the truth and love of God with our neighbour in need. Don't hide God within your heart. Give him away to others and you'll find the happiness that you seek. Alcohol or food satisfy only for a moment. Sharing the truth God has put within your heart with others is the key to fulfilment and satisfaction.

Watch those words, they are real things. If you need help in this area, read and study James chapter 3.

And try to find a wife that loves and obeys the Lord. If she doesn't she may pull you away to serve the gods she is serving. Be the man in the family and with your loving sample and words lead her to Christ.

Jesus is the friend of sinners and sticks closer than a brother. Get attached or connected to Jesus and ypu will be more than an overcomer.
