Cristo virá duas vezes ou apenas uma? Parte 6 - A Ira de Deus

As taças da Ira de Deus seguem cronologicamente a Grande Tribulação ou as trombetas de Apocalipse 8-10. Encontramos a ira mencionada especialmente em Apocalipse 16.
Apocalipse 16:26-27: "Ouvi uma grande voz vinda do templo, dizendo aos sete anjos: Ide e derramai sobre a terra as taças da ira de Deus. 2 O primeiro anjo foi e derramou a sua taça sobre a terra; e fez-se uma chaga maligna e dolorosa nos homens que tinham o sinal da besta e nos que adoravam a sua imagem. 3 O segundo anjo derramou a sua taça no mar, e este se tornou em sangue como de um morto; e toda alma vivente morreu no mar. 4 O terceiro anjo derramou a sua taça nos rios e nas fontes das águas, e tornaram-se em sangue. 5 Então ouvi o anjo das águas dizer: 'Justo és tu, Senhor, que és, que eras e que hás de ser, porque julgaste assim. e justos são os teus juÃzos.
Apocalipse 16:8 O quarto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o sol, e foi-lhe dado poder para queimar os homens com fogo. 9 E os homens foram queimados com grande calor, e blasfemaram o nome de Deus, que tem poder sobre estas pragas; e não se arrependeram para lhe darem glória. 10 O quinto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o trono da besta; e o seu reino encheu-se de trevas; e mordiam a lÃngua de dor, 11 e blasfemavam contra o Deus do céu por causa das suas dores e das suas chagas, e não se arrependeram das suas obras. 12 O sexto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o grande rio Eufrates; e secou-se a sua água, para que se preparasse o caminho dos reis do oriente. 13 E vi sair da boca do dragão, e da boca da besta, e da boca do falso profeta três espÃritos imundos, semelhantes a rãs. 14 Porque são espÃritos de demónios, que fazem sinais miraculosos, e vão ao encontro dos reis da terra e de todo o mundo, para os reunir para a batalha do grande dia do Deus Todo-Poderoso.
Apocalipse 16:15 Eis que venho como ladrão. Bem-aventurado aquele que vigia e guarda as suas vestes, para que não ande nu, e não se veja a sua vergonha. 16 E reuniu-os num lugar que em hebraico se chama Armagedão. 17 E o sétimo anjo derramou a sua taça no ar; e saiu uma grande voz do templo do céu, do trono, dizendo: Está feito. 18 E houve vozes, e trovões, e relâmpagos; E houve um grande terramoto, como nunca houve desde que o homem existe sobre a terra, tão forte e tão grande foi o terramoto. 19 E a grande cidade foi dividida em três partes, e as cidades das nações caÃram; e a grande Babilónia foi lembrada diante de Deus, para lhe dar o cálice do vinho da fúria da sua ira. 20 E todas as ilhas fugiram, e os montes não foram encontrados. 21 E caiu do céu sobre os homens uma grande saraiva, cada pedra com o peso de um talento; e os homens blasfemaram contra Deus por causa da praga da saraiva, porque a sua praga era extremamente grande.
O Regresso de Cristo na Batalha do Armagedão e no Dia do Senhor!
Comparando com as trombetas de Apocalipse 8-10, vemos nas taças uma destruição mais severa e uma preparação para a Batalha do Armagedão. Vemos também a destruição da Babilónia, a Prostituta, mencionada em Apocalipse 17 e 18, sobre a qual já escrevi noutro lugar. Em Apocalipse 19:11-21, vemos a Batalha do Armagedão.
Apocalipse 19:11 Vi o céu aberto, e eis um cavalo branco; e o que estava sentado sobre ele chama-se Fiel e Verdadeiro; e julga e combate com justiça. 12 Os seus olhos eram como chama de fogo; e sobre a sua cabeça havia muitos diademas; e tinha um nome escrito, que ninguém sabia senão ele próprio. 13 Estava vestido com uma veste tingida de sangue; e o seu nome é Palavra de Deus. 14 Os exércitos que estavam no céu seguiam-no em cavalos brancos, vestidos de linho fino, branco e puro. 15 Da sua boca saÃa uma espada afiada, para com ela ferir as nações; e ele as regerá com vara de ferro; e ele mesmo é o que pisa o lagar do vinho do furor e da ira do Deus Todo-Poderoso. 16 E na sua veste e na sua coxa tinha escrito este nome: Rei dos reis e Senhor dos senhores.
Apocalipse 19:17 E vi um anjo de pé, ao sol; e clamou com grande voz, dizendo a todas as aves que voavam pelo meio do céu: Vinde, ajuntai-vos para a ceia do grande Deus; 18 para que comais a carne dos reis, e a carne dos capitães, e a carne dos poderosos, e a carne dos cavalos e dos que os montam, e a carne de todos os homens, livres e escravos, pequenos e grandes.
Apocalipse 19:19 E vi a besta, e os reis da terra, e os seus exércitos reunidos, para fazerem guerra contra aquele que estava assentado sobre o cavalo, e contra o seu exército. 20 E a besta foi presa, e com ela o falso profeta que diante dela fizera os sinais com que enganou os que receberam o sinal da besta, e os que adoraram a sua imagem. Estes dois foram lançados vivos no lago de fogo que arde com enxofre. 21 E os outros foram mortos com a espada daquele que estava montado no cavalo, espada essa que saÃa da sua boca; e todas as aves se fartaram da sua carne.
É nestes versÃculos que vemos Cristo a regressar com os anjos e santos de Deus para guerrear contra o Anticristo possuÃdo por Satanás, o Falso Profeta, e as suas forças. Judas, citando o livro de Enoque, mostra o mesmo acontecimento.
Judas 14 E Enoque, o sétimo depois de Adão, profetizou a respeito deles, dizendo: Eis que o Senhor vem com milhares dos seus santos, 15 para executar juÃzo sobre todos e convencer todos os Ãmpios de todas as suas obras de impiedade que praticaram e de todas as palavras duras que os pecadores Ãmpios proferiram contra ele.
Em Zacarias 14, vemos a mesma imagem que descreve o regresso triunfal do Messias para tomar posse da terra e desembarcar em Jerusalém. No versÃculo 5, lê-se:
Zacarias 14:5 Fugireis para o vale dos montes, porque o vale dos montes chega até Azal; sim, fugireis, como fugistes do terramoto nos dias de Uzias, rei de Judá; e virá o Senhor meu Deus, e todos os santos contigo.
Mais adiante em Zacarias, vemos a peste que ocorrerá durante aqueles dias de ira.
Zacarias 14:12 Esta será a praga com que o Senhor ferirá todos os povos que guerrearam contra Jerusalém: a sua carne se consumirá em pé, os seus olhos se consumirão nas órbitas e a sua lÃngua se consumirá na boca.
Parece uma imagem de guerra nuclear. No Japão, quando as bombas atómicas caÃram sobre Nagasaki e Hiroshima, aqueles que olharam para a explosão ficaram com os olhos derretidos nas órbitas. Em IsaÃas, vemos uma descrição semelhante.
IsaÃas 13:6 Lamentem, porque o dia do Senhor está próximo; virá como destruição da parte do Todo-Poderoso. 7 Por isso, todas as mãos se desfalecerão, e o coração de todos se derreterá. 8 Eles ficarão aterrorizados; dores e angústias os dominarão; terão dores como a mulher que está a dar à luz; ficarão atónitos uns com os outros; os seus rostos serão como chamas.
IsaÃas 13:9 Eis que vem o dia do Senhor, dia cruel, com ira e furor ardente, para devastar a terra e destruir dela os seus pecadores. 10 Pois as estrelas do céu e as suas constelações não darão a sua luz; o sol escurecerá ao nascer, e a lua não fará resplandecer a sua luz.
IsaÃas 13:11 Castigarei o mundo pela sua maldade e os Ãmpios pela sua iniquidade; Farei cessar a arrogância dos soberbos e humilharei a altivez dos terrÃveis. 12 Farei com que o homem seja mais precioso do que o ouro fino, mais precioso do que a cunha de ouro de Ofir. 13 Por isso, abalarei os céus, e a terra se moverá do seu lugar, por causa da ira do Senhor dos Exércitos, no dia da sua ardente indignação.
Mais versÃculos sobre o Dia do Senhor
Os versÃculos seguintes parecem também referir-se ao mesmo “dia do Senhor”, ou à “Ira de Deus”.
IsaÃas 26:20 Vinde, povo meu, entrai nos vossos aposentos e fechai as portas sobre vós; escondei-vos por um momento, até que passe a ira. 21 Porque eis que o Senhor sai do seu lugar para castigar os habitantes da terra por causa da sua iniquidade; a terra também descobrirá o seu sangue e não encobrirá mais os seus mortos.
Curiosamente, o versÃculo anterior a estes parece indicar o arrebatamento/ressurreição, acontecimento que, como mostrámos, precede a ira de Deus.
IsaÃas 26:19 Os teus mortos viverão, e ressuscitarão com o meu cadáver. Despertai e cantai, vós que habitais no pó, porque o vosso orvalho é como o orvalho das ervas, e a terra lançará fora os mortos.
Em Jeremias, vemos outra referência ao dia do Senhor ou à angústia de Jacob.
Jeremias 30:6 Perguntai agora e vede se o homem tem dores de parto; por que vejo, pois, todos os homens com as mãos nos lombos, como a mulher em trabalho de parto, e todos os rostos empalideceram? 7 Ai! Porque grande será aquele dia, de maneira que não há outro semelhante a ele. É o tempo da angústia de Jacob, mas ele será salvo dela.
Mais uma vez vemos um acontecimento horrÃvel a acontecer, de modo que os rostos dos homens empalidecem. O Senhor diz que não há outro dia igual em termos de horror. Contudo, o Senhor também promete que o seu povo, os descendentes de Jacob, serão salvos. Os verdadeiros descendentes de Jacob e Abraão, como Jesus e Paulo ensinaram, são os verdadeiros crentes em Cristo. Vamos analisar brevemente este ponto.

The vials of the Wrath of God follow chronologically the Great Tribulation or the trumpets of Revelation 8-10. We find the wrath especially spoken of in Revelation 16.
Revelation 16 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. 2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. 3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. 4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
Revelation 16: 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. 12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Revelation 16: 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. 17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Christ’s Return at the Battle of Armageddon and the Day of the Lord!
Compared with the trumpets of Revelation 8-10 we see in the vials are a more severe destruction and prepare for the Battle of Armageddon. We also see the destruction of Babylon the Whore, spoken of in Revelation 17 and 18, which I have written about else where. In Revelation 19:11-21 we see the Battle of Armageddon.
Revelation 19: 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
Revelation 19: 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Revelation 19: 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
It is in these verses that we see Christ returning with the angels and saints of God to make war on the Satan possessed Antichrist, the False Prophet, and their forces. Jude quoting from the book of Enoch shows the same event.
Jude 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
In Zechariah 14, we see the same imagery describing the Messiah’s triumphant return to take over the earth and landing at Jerusalem. In verse 5 we read,
Zechariah 14: 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
Later in Zechariah we see the plague that will take place during those days of wrath.
Zechariah 14: 12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Souds like the imagery of nuclear war. In Japan when the atomic bombs fell on Nagasaki and Hiroshima those who looked toward the flashing explosion had their eyes melted in their eye sockets. In Isaiah we see a similar description.
Isaiah 13: 6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. 7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: 8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
Isaiah 13: 9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Isaiah 13: 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. 13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
More Verses on the Day of the Lord
The following verses, also, seem to be talking of the same “day of the Lord,” or the “Wrath of God.”
Isaiah 26: 20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Oddly enough, the verse preceding these seems to indicate the rapture/resurrection event, which we have shown precedes the wrath of God.
Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
In Jeremiah we see another reference to the day of the Lord or Jacob’s trouble.
Jeremiah 30: 6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? 7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
Again we see some horrendous event is taking place so that men’s faces are turning to paleness. The Lord says that there is no other day like it in horror. However, the Lord also promises that his people, the descendants of Jacob, will be saved out of it. The true descendants of Jacob and Abraham, as both Jesus and Paul taught, are the true believers in Christ. Let us look at this point briefly.

¡El regreso de Cristo en la batalla de Armagedón y el dÃa del Señor!
Comparado con las trompetas de Apocalipsis 8-10, vemos en las copas una destrucción más severa y una preparación para la batalla de Armagedón. También vemos la destrucción de Babilonia la Ramera, de la que se habla en Apocalipsis 17 y 18, sobre la cual he escrito en otro lugar. En Apocalipsis 19:11-21 vemos la Batalla de Armagedón.
Apocalipsis 19:11 Vi el cielo abierto; y he aquà un caballo blanco, que se llamaba Fiel y Verdadero, y con justicia juzga y hace la guerra. 12 Sus ojos eran como llama de fuego, y sobre su cabeza habÃa muchas coronas; y tenÃa un nombre escrito que nadie conocÃa sino él mismo. 13 Estaba vestido con una vestidura teñida en sangre, y su nombre es llamado La Palabra de Dios. 14 Y los ejércitos celestiales lo seguÃan en caballos blancos, vestidos de lino fino, blanco y limpio. 15 De su boca salÃa una espada aguda, con la cual herirÃa a las naciones; y las gobernará con vara de hierro; él pisa el lagar del furor y de la ira del Dios Todopoderoso. 16 Y en su vestidura y en su muslo tenÃa escrito un nombre: Rey de reyes y Señor de señores.
Apocalipsis 19:17 Vi a un ángel que estaba de pie en el sol, y clamó a gran voz, diciendo a todas las aves que vuelan en medio del cielo: «Venid y reunidos para la gran cena del Dios». 18 Vi a un ángel que estaba de pie en el sol, y clamó a gran voz, diciendo a todas las aves que vuelan en medio del cielo: «Venid y reunidos para la gran cena del Dios; 18 para que comáis la carne de reyes, la carne de capitanes, la carne de poderosos, la carne de caballos y de los que los montan, y la carne de todos los hombres, libres y esclavos, pequeños y grandes».
Apocalipsis 19:19 Vi a la bestia, a los reyes de la tierra y a sus ejércitos, reunidos para hacer la guerra contra el que estaba sentado sobre el caballo y contra su ejército. 20 La bestia fue apresada, y con ella el falso profeta que habÃa hecho milagros delante de ella, con los cuales engañó a los que habÃan recibido la marca de la bestia y a los que adoraban su imagen. Estos dos fueron arrojados vivos a un lago de fuego que ardÃa con azufre. 21 Y el resto fue muerto con la espada del que estaba sentado sobre el caballo, la cual salÃa de su boca; y todas las aves se saciaron con su carne.
En estos versÃculos vemos a Cristo regresar con los ángeles y los santos de Dios para luchar contra el Anticristo poseÃdo por Satanás, el Falso Profeta, y sus fuerzas. Judas, citando el libro de Enoc, muestra el mismo acontecimiento.
Judas 14: Y Enoc, el séptimo desde Adán, profetizó acerca de estos, diciendo: «He aquà que el Señor viene con millares de sus santos, 15 para ejecutar juicio sobre todos, y para convencer a todos los impÃos de entre ellos de todas sus obras impÃas que han cometido, y de todas las palabras duras que los pecadores impÃos han hablado contra él».
En ZacarÃas 14, vemos la misma imagen que describe el regreso triunfal del MesÃas para tomar posesión de la tierra y su llegada a Jerusalén. En el versÃculo 5 leemos:
ZacarÃas 14:5 Y huiréis al valle de las montañas, porque el valle de las montañas llega hasta Azal. SÃ, huiréis como huisteis del terremoto en los dÃas de UzÃas, rey de Judá. Y vendrá Jehová mi Dios, y todos los santos con él.
Más adelante en ZacarÃas vemos la plaga que tendrá lugar durante aquellos dÃas de ira.
ZacarÃas 14:12 Y esta será la plaga con que Jehová herirá a todos los que han luchado contra Jerusalén: su carne se consumirá mientras estén de pie, sus ojos se consumirán en sus cuencas, y su lengua se consumirá en su boca.
Suena como la imagen de una guerra nuclear. En Japón, cuando las bombas atómicas cayeron sobre Nagasaki e Hiroshima, a quienes miraron hacia la explosión se les derritieron los ojos. En IsaÃas vemos una descripción similar.
IsaÃas 13:6 ¡Gritad!, porque el dÃa del Señor está cerca; vendrá como destrucción del Todopoderoso. 7 Por eso, todas las manos desfallecerán, y el corazón de cada hombre se derretirá. 8 Tendrán miedo; dolores y angustias los sobrevendrán; sufrirán dolores como de parto; se asombrarán unos de otros; sus rostros serán como llamas.
IsaÃas 13:9 He aquÃ, viene el dÃa del Señor, cruel, con ira y furor, para asolar la tierra; y destruirá de ella a los pecadores. 10 Porque las estrellas del cielo y sus constelaciones no darán su luz; el sol se oscurecerá al salir, y la luna no hará brillar su luz.
IsaÃas 13:11 Y castigaré al mundo por su maldad, y a los impÃos por su iniquidad; Y haré cesar la arrogancia de los soberbios, y humillaré la altivez de los tiranos. 12 Haré que el hombre sea más precioso que el oro fino; incluso más precioso que la cuña de oro de Ofir. 13 Por tanto, sacudiré los cielos, y la tierra se moverá de su lugar, en la ira del Señor de los ejércitos, en el dÃa de su furor.
Más versÃculos sobre el DÃa del Señor
Los siguientes versÃculos también parecen referirse al mismo «dÃa del Señor» o a la «ira de Dios».
IsaÃas 26:20 «Ven, pueblo mÃo, entra en tus aposentos, y cierra tus puertas tras de ti; escóndete por un breve momento, hasta que pase la indignación. 21 Porque he aquà que el Señor sale de su lugar para castigar a los habitantes de la tierra por su iniquidad; la tierra también revelará su sangre, y no encubrirá más a sus muertos». Curiosamente, el versÃculo anterior parece indicar el rapto/resurrección, que, como hemos demostrado, precede a la ira de Dios.
IsaÃas 26:19 Tus muertos vivirán; con mi cadáver resucitarán. ¡Despertad y cantad, vosotros que habitáis en el polvo! Porque tu rocÃo es como el rocÃo de las hierbas, y la tierra expulsará a los muertos.
En JeremÃas encontramos otra referencia al dÃa del Señor o a la angustia de Jacob.
JeremÃas 30:6 Preguntad ahora, y ved si hay algún hombre con dolores de parto. ¿Por qué veo a todo hombre con las manos en los lomos, como mujer de parto, y todos los rostros pálidos? 7 ¡Ay! ¡Grande es aquel dÃa, y no hay otro igual! Es tiempo de angustia para Jacob, pero él será salvado.
Una vez más vemos que ocurre un suceso espantoso que deja a los hombres pálidos. El Señor dice que no hay otro dÃa igual en horror. Sin embargo, también promete que su pueblo, los descendientes de Jacob, serán salvados. Los verdaderos descendientes de Jacob y Abraham, como enseñaron Jesús y Pablo, son los verdaderos creyentes en Cristo. Analicemos este punto brevemente.
